Ridiculous. I had two packages from two different sides of the country scheduled to arrive the same day. One arrived in Allen Park today and was transferred to my post office and delivered today, the other arrived there 3 days ago and just "departed" today. Now it says, "In-Transit, Delayed" with no other information at all. If this place doesn't have the support or updated equipment that the people need to do their jobs, then it should be upgraded. If all is physically well and the employees are poor performers, it's probably time to replace management. An entire facility cannot be lethargic without a lack of either direction or suitable equipment.

I ordered homeschool books for my children on eBay from 2 seperate sellers. One arrived at this facility on May 6 and the other on May 9. THEY ARE STILL TRACKING AT THIS FACILITY and have been there for 24 DAYS AND COUNTING! I did not have the books for my children to begin high school today. PLEASE, PLEASE send out our packages! I am amazed at all of the bad reviews for this facility. USPS please do something!

if there was anyway to give it just a piece of one corner of the star I,m sure this place hardly even deserves that,even other post office branches complain about them they just make more work for everybody. they have gone postal, and don,t give a dam,because they were taken from there previous jobs and placed there, well hell wake up !! you have a job !!! do it !!

Bought a small ring on eBay that was supposed to arrive on May 2nd. It has arrived, processed, and departed this facility not, once, not twice, but three times. It continues to say that it's departed days at a time. And when I called this location the lady was quite rude and not very helpful. This place is crap.

Had a package sit at this post office for well over a day and it's only 2 hours away from me they're very slow

This post office is garbage. I have 2 packages that shipped from the same place and mailed out at the same time 2day priority. I received one and the other one is still sitting at this black hole they claim to b a sort facility. They lose more packages than they ship! USPS needs to do something about this facility

I had a package mailed with tracking and it ended up here at the Allen Park location. This is not the first time that I have had one come up missing from this place. My package arrived here on May 1 and it is now May 11. It was sent First Class. When I track it, it says that the item has been delayed and won't be delivered on the expected delivery date, Whats wrong with these people? Sounds to me like a bunch of thieves. I had a package arrive here on May 5th. It was sent First Class. When I track it, it says that the item has been delayed and won't be delivered on the expected delivery date, and that a new delivery date will be posted. It is now May 10th and the package is still here. What is going on with this place. Something has got to be done about this. The item was supposed to be a mother's day gift. Well they just ruined this mothers day. I paid for first class for a reason. So it would get here. Apparently it doesn't matter how you ship your item. I'm not gonna order anything else if it goes through usps.I'll pay the extra for FedEx and ups.I'm not even gonna mail anything through usps anymore. This is ridiculous.

They take forever to mail stuff out. My package has been sitting there for 1 day now.

My boyfriend has a package that was supposed to have already arrived waiting at this facility. My package shows it arrived there tonight. I will be calling them tomorrow and seeing when our packages will ship and if it is not tomorrow I will be making the 3 hour drive there to pick then up.

I sent a certified court document to Detroit and it ended up in the Allen Park Post Office. It got there in 2 days from New York, but 6 days later it has not yet been delivered! These people are rude lazy jerks. I think they steal mail by the bag from looking at the complaints below. What a crock. This place needs some investigators and a prosecutor or two! It's hard to believe this is not a 3rd world country... oh wait a minute, yes it is! It's Detroit!!!

Well !!!!!!!!!!!!!! My medium sized yellow envelope left Sarasota Fl. Aril14 in the A.M landed in Allen Park MI 48101 on 20th (6 days later!) Departed mine you on April 21 Allen Park, Mi. and has yet to reach Ottawa Lake, Mi. 55 freakin miles away !!! What the hell I could have walked it to Ottawa Lake myself from Sarasota FLorida ! now on the phone waiting for how many days ????????????????

I feel like all they do is sit on there a** I've ordered several things the only one I havent received is the one they has been sitting in their facility for over a week. I think they are in need of new employees.

My experience with the Allen Park USPS origin facility is the worst. They send my packages all over the country except to my destination city. Packages sit and sit. Tracking inquiry responds that the situation is resolved. Like hell. This inefficiency explains why they are losing money. I will seek any alternative.

Three packages I was to receive have been sitting in Allen Park for over a week. What happened af this facility from April 1 - April 9. Was there a fire sale or ? Coupled to my own problems, tracking for the packages was never updated ever since the delay started (showing the packages were sitting for a week). Final insult is their 1-800 customer service is having problems. I provided my phone number three times. Each time I was told my number was incorrect, and was finally denied. I finally got through. They stated the packages were delayed in Allen Park (OMG), and that Allen Park is one of many of their very large sort facility's (OMG). Why am I sorry? Why is any of this my fault? PS: Beyound the obvious, I can not fathom what suggestions I can offer except the complaint I filed was #HQ122587456.

My package left for this facility on March 26.....and it is not here yet according to the website. Local post office says its here, but no one knows anything. This place seems crooked

I have a package that arrived at this facility on the 21st, departed on the 22nd and has disappeared. Never made it to Lapeer. Unless the driver is transporting with the back door of the truck open on the highway, packages don't get lost. not this many!! They're being stolen. I ticked. Any packages coming to me in Lapeer go through this pathetic sorting facility in Allen Park first. They're doing nothing to stop your property from being stolen. Last I checked, it was an illegal offense.
