I have no clue why all of these reviews are so negative. They gave me fair pay for my metal and they were extremely helpful. They had people help me unload and even stayed open after closing so I could drop off my last load. Honestly they are my first choice and will always be.

Yesterday I dropped off almost 5900 pounds worth of steel piping. Current rate is $60 per ton (0.03 cents per pound). I called the day before and checked. They didn't even pay me for two tons worth

This scrap yard is terrible. I took in 50lbs. of number one copper wire (current rate as of 12/23/16 1.58/lb) and they only paid me $0.78/lb. With the beauty of the internet now a days I pulled up the national average and showed them. They said they pay what Denver pays. I pulled up 3 scrap yards in Denver all paying $1.50 or more. They still refused to pay what it was worth. I asked for my wire back and they had already dumped it a said it was theirs now. Do not use this scrap yard. Scum bag is putting it lightly. Here, these people are ________. You'll fill in the blank if you use them.

Wow. I purchased a transmission from them and tried for two weeks to get ANYONE there to return my call. When they finally did I got the run around about some guy name "Truman" not being there. I made THREE trips up from Denver to get this thing returned only to have them make more excuses. Thank you for sticking me with a $400 transmission that I can't use. You guys are the epitome of scum bags.

Wow hownisbthis place in business. They wanted 500 for a transmission with a 30 day warrenty. I offered 400 and he said that he would take it but not give me a warrenty. Why would i pay 400 for a potentially bad transmission. There was no "working" with me. Howbthis place is in business is beyond me. They wont be for long treating people like that.

Thieves. A friend had them come move a mobile home off his property and helped themselves to other items on the property (antiques, tools, light poles). Wouldn't have guessed if I hadn't seen it myself then threatened by the whole family. They knew what they had done was wrong. By the time the cops came for a report it had been moved. The kind of people that give dirtbags a bad name. ps the only reason they get a star is so they can read this themselves.

Nice, friendly, and except hard to recycle things like refrigerators and pay money for old steel things like patio furniture and swing sets- AND they pick up for free in Longmont! Good to have a place like that here!!
