Catfish Cove

We went here on a recommendation from a co-worker. horrible decision! The food was terrible and cold. The buffet was not refreshed and the atmosphere was not inviting. Will never go here again. The service was the most positive thing I can think of and that was not all that great.

They have great catfish and fried shrimp, hush puppies are pretty good and they have awesome homemade cobbler and ice cream. This location is pretty small for a buffet, definitely not as big as the Moore location. I'm not sure why someone would complain (see above negative review) about the waitress at a buffet having an attitude when asked to get someone more food... It's a buffet, your supposed to get your lazy behind
up and get your own food.

Food wasn't worth the humiliation we suffered at being accused of sharing the AYCE crab legs. Food was ok but pretty pricey for being mostly cold. Desserts are homemade and not bad. Waitresses jump at the chance, apparently, to tell on suspected sharers (I totally get that you have to watch for this but you would think you might reserve the humiliating speech for very overt offenders and not just for "suspected" sharing). Waitresses then would not return to wait on us for the rest of our stay except when we flagged one down as she walked by and asked for more crab for mom...to which she was very cold and unfriendly and proceeded to go to the hostess and appeared to "complain" about us asking for more crab. I am intolerant to crab so cannot eat it and was only helping my mom shell hers as she is diabetic and has neuropathy and it's painful for her to do so on her own. Spent over 120 dollars only to leave feeling really upset and neglected. Made to feel like children being punished when we were paying customers and huge tippers (this night excluded). Won't be going back...ever.

Wonderful made from scratch food. Family owned and lots of attention to making good ole home cookin'. The catfish is not highly seasoned and lets the fish speak for itself - really fresh and tasty. The other entrees like boiled peeled shrimp, fried shrimp, chicken strips etc are very tasty too. The hush puppies and all of the sides (especially the salad bar) are really yummy. The corn fritters are to die for and the desserts or basic homemade ice cream and cobblers. Price is reasonable for all you get to eat - friendly, clean and all so fresh!!!!!
