7-Eleven

A new 7-eleven opened in my neighborhood. I love 7-eleven! So, I would visit a couple of times each week. The store was always clean, the workers always kind with good customer service. They seemed super tired though and I came to learn they were understaffed and working very long hours, 12+ hours. There was only one night person who worked with no days off, by his own request. Whew! Hard workers!! But they did not complain and seemed to genuinely like their work. The food was always fresh. I don't drink coffee so can't speak about that but I saw them making it often. I liked the place and wanted to help so even worked a few months until I found out my dance injury in my back was worse than I thought. The owner worked with me until he could find someone to replace me and was always kind and strived to give me hours despite my new found injury. So from behind the scenes I saw that the crew strives to keep the store clean, keep items fresh, and tries to give good customer service. I saw that the owner also strives to keep the stores running smoothly and cleanly. Many of the crew have an accent but can understand and speak full English so if you are training, they get frustrated with themselves if they can't speak so you can understand, so training can be somewhat hard until the new person gets used to the accents. They are kind to kids and work extremely hard. The only thing I would wish is that workers get proper breaks so there is not burnout. But, it's hard to do that if you work alone or even with a partner since there is a ton of work that needs to be done to keep everything clean, take good care of the customers and deal with vendors. Overall, as both a customer and a worker, I enjoy 7-eleven and feel this particular one is really better than most.

Clean place and great customer service. They always have fresh coffee and their food is also always fresh.

Rude to other employees as well as customers place is dirty and tell the employee and they say not his problem coffee stale and donuts shelf dirty employees smell and are gross
