Always-Tan

I have been to a few different tanning salons before going to Always Tan & I have to say, this tanning salon is by far the best I've ever gone to. The staff there are so friendly & personable, I feel like they really appreciate you. Other salons I've been to have really snobby staff who seem to cast judgement upon you as soon as you walk in. Always Tan is super clean & the bulbs are changed frequently. I ALWAYS get a nice, dark tan there. I've been going for 2 years now & plan to keep doing so.

The beds were always clean and the staff was always nice, but unfortunately not very professional at all.



During my package the salon was closed down SEVERAL times during business hours and I could not tan. It was closed in the summer for a few days while the air conditioner was replaced, then there were NUMEROUS times when I would ride up an hour or 2 before they closed to find they closed EARLY. Then they were closed for nearly a week this winter due to a death in the family. They just had a piece of paper taped to the door that they wrote on with a sharpie saying "Closed due to death in the family". I actually had to go pay for tanning at Back To The Beach because I was in a wedding and wanted to look tan. I completely sympathize with a family death, but to completely close the salon for a week? I paid for a 6 month package, so while I was frequently inconvenienced, I had to stick it out.



My package is now over, and I will not be returning. Its really unfortunate, but I lost out on almost 3 weeks of tanning that I paid for due to their frequent closing. I'd rather go somewhere that I can rely on to be open during the business hours they pick.

I have been to pretty much every single tanning salon around the area and none have compared to Always Tan.

It is EXTREMELY clean and kept up nicely .. their beds and bulbs seem to be very well maintained. I have been there quite a few times and have never had any complaints. The staff is so friendly and informative and go above and beyond to make their customers happy.

I'm very impressed at how well they run their business:)

As for the comments pertaining to the tanning bed bulbs not being "strong enough"... That's funny because i thought they had the best bulbs around!.. I guess it could just depend on your bodys tanning potential and not so much the equipment.

BULBS SEEM TO NEVER GET CHANGED, EVERYONE I SPEAK TO SAYS THEY NEVER GET A NICE DARK TAN, SEEMS LIKE YOU ONLY GET A BASE TAN.ALSO I TURNED THE FANS OFF ON THE HIGH PRESSURE BEDS TWO DIFFERENT TIMES AND WENT FULL TIME LIMIT AND DIDN'T BREAK A SWEAT. THEY SAY THEY SWITCH THERE BULBS AND THEY DON'T CAUSE I SPOKE TO SOME OF THE PAST EMPLOYEES THERE. SO JUST BEWARE. DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY. I BOUGHT A MONTH OF HIGH PRESSURE TANNING AND DIDN'T EVEN GET TANNED WASTE OF TIME AND MONEY. I SWITCHED OVER TO GOLDEN TANNING AND WENT 3 TIMES AND ALREADY SURPASS MY ORIGINAL TAN. GOLDEN TAN SWITCHES THERE BULBS REGULARLY. AND THE PRICES ARE CHEAPER AND YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR. HOPEFULLY WHO EVER READS THIS REVIEW TAKES MY ADVICE. BEST OF LUCK

Always Tan is clean, with a friendly staff and convenient hours.

They have 5 levels of equipment, including high-pressure.

Their prices are hard to beat--I have the $24.99 month unlimited package, which includes the use of levels 1-4, with no co-pay!

They have a pretty good selection of lotions and the bulbs seem new, as the beds are really hot.

I would recommend checking this place out if you're in the area.
