Nick's Parkway Auto Repair and Gas

Last month my car overheated causing extensive damage to the engine of my ’06 Jeep Commander. I got my car towed to Nick’s. He started on my car right away and he even diagnosed my Jeep for free even though I told them my car was under factory warranty and he knew he probably would not get the job. Nick still took his time to diagnose my car and told me how to proceed with getting my car fixed. He even called Jeep for me to see if the damage was covered under warrant and if he could fix the car himself but it turned out it had to be fixed by a Jeep dealer so he helped me get my car towed to Jeep. Jeep fixed my engine which was covered under warranty but then charged me for unnecessary extra items and they were not cheap. Nick helped me out more then Jeep did. Nick is a very honest and trustworthy mechanic and next time ill definitely be taking my car to him and not Jeep.

I have been looking for a good place to bring my car for some time now. I am glad to say the search is over. I brought my car into this place for an oil change, but noted that I had heard some noise coming from the front wheel. Nick was able to diagnose the problem and even had his son give me a ride home while the repairs were made.

By the end of the day I had my car back and the noise was gone. I had such a great experience at Nick's. The whole family was very friendly, and his work was reasonably priced. Truly Great service.

Parkway Mobil is great ! The owner Nick really helped me out with my car. I had a bunch of things wrong with it and it was literally falling apart by the second, I brought the car to Nick and told him there was a million things wrong with it, but that I could only afford to fix one thing at a time! Nick told me not to worry about it and that he would fix everything I needed now and would give me a fair price ! Honestly, if I had brought my car to the actual dealership I would be down EASY 4 grand ! There was NO way I could afford that but Nick really "hooked it up" ! Also, I dropped my car off on Friday and got it back the next day ! The car runs perfect ! and the price made it even more perfect ! lol, AND they even washed it for me! Now that is what I call service ! Will definetly be come back here for everything ! Their gas prices are pretty fair also ! 5 stars for this place !

I guess it is now an independent shop and the new name is 'Nick's Parkway Auto Repair & Gas' ... Regardless, they are still the same owners that have been there for over 25 years and they are great to deal with. This is shop is a true example of an American family run business. Now that they are independent they always seem to have some of the lowest gas prices in West Roxbury and trust me I check. More importantly, I had a Subaru that needed repair. The car was continuously overheating and no one seemed to know what the issue was. Their mechanics work on all kinds of car but I noticed so many Subarus at their location so I gave them a shot. It was the best experience I've had at a repair shop. Within minutes they diagnosed the problem as being a defect in the head gasket and 3 days later he job was done. I have had no issues since but if I ever do need service to my Subaru again ... I definitely know where to go. I will recommend them to all my friends ...

My truck would not start for my girlfriend after she got gas. After calling me, I narrowed it down to the starter, the mechanics wanted $25 to simply hit the starter with a hammer (to make it turn) and the vehicle would start. After arguing with her and making her cry, they took her money without fixing the vehicle. They even threatened to have it towed if it was not moved within 2 hours. The vehicle was parked in front of their garage where they fix cars!!!! I left work and drove over there and had the vehicle fixed within less that 2 minutes of being parked at the gas station, but hitting the starter.



Avoid this gas station at all costs, the service was horrible, the employees attitudes were demeaning and condensing. Absolutely nothing was accomplished except they "made" money by ripping off a girl who did not know much about mechanics and left her to be picked up by someone miles away.
