After wasting a lot of time at Costco on what they said were their "best" hearing aids, and a go-round at another Vacaville hearing aid provider, a friend told me about "Advanced Instruments" in Vacaville. What a difference! The moment I walked in the door, I was treated like a well-loved member of the family! I was given the most thorough hearing tests and evaluation I ever had, leaving me to wonder how in the world the others could have possibly prescribed the correct hearing aids for me. After the evaluation, I was given a choice of several models of hearing aids that would work perfectly for my hearing loss. Even though all of the models I was shown would have worked perfectly for my hearing loss, the more expensive ones seemed to have more options. It was nice to be given the choice to choose the ones that fit my budget, and not feel pressured to choose the most expensive ones, like the other places I went to. Wow, someone was finally thinking of my concerns and feelings, instead of their own! What a welcomed difference! I was almost going to give up, on getting the help I really needed, because of the poor experiences I had gone through before finding Advanced Instruments. Eric and his staff were experts in finding out what kind of hearing loss I had, and helping me hear "what I'd been missing" for years! And they do it in a very comfortable and kind manner. I no longer dread up-coming social events and family gatherings, I welcome them eagerly as I use to years ago, knowing I won't miss out on any conversations or sounds! A real blessing! Unlike the other places I tried first, that wanted to give me just 30 days to decide to keep my new hearing aids, Advanced Instruments has to confidence to give you 75 days to decide! Now that's what I call a real trial period! Not only that, but all of my batteries and office visits are free for the next 3 years, what a savings! I couldn't be happier or more satisfied with the whole wonderful experience I had. So don't do what I did, wasting a lot of time and energy with so-called discount hearing aid providers that care more about themselves than their customers. Give these friendly people a call, they are the very BEST!
