For many pets, warm weather can mean more hot spots. Hot spots are an inflammation of the skin and can turn into severe bacterial infections if not treated properly. If you notice your pet is excessively licking, examine the area for any redness or irritation. Getting your pet to stop licking is critical. Dr. Morgan Wiseley grew up in a small rural town in Wisconsin, where she fell in love with veterinary medicine while helping her dairy vet father on farm calls. She attended Carroll University for her undergraduate education and continued on to the University of Wisconsin-Madison where she graduated in 2010 from the School of Veterinary Medicine. Small animals are her focus, especially wellness and preventive care for cats and dogs. Dr. Morgan has experience in challenging medical cases and routine surgery, and she has a special interest in the nuances of caring for pets as they enter their senior years. Dr. Morgan is a member of the WVMA and the AVMA.

Laboratory Services
Bristol Veterinary Services is equipped with state of the art diagnostic capabilities that can be performed on the farm or in house. For more specific diagnostic testing and bloodwork, we utilize over 15 different laboratories.
X-Ray
New graduates or experienced veterinarians are encouraged to apply; we offer a great deal of independence for our associates. Opportunities to expand into other species (large, exotic) are available if interested. As is standard in most practices, we have in-house lab equipment, digital radiography, etc. We are located in southeastern Wisconsin, in an area that allows for a diversity of lifestyles and provides ample opportunity for leisure activities. Microchipping
If you are looking for a more permanent form of identification, microchips are a great option. Microchipping is a simple and pain-free procedure that can be performed during your pet’s routine wellness appointment. If your pet is lost, shelters and vet clinics can obtain your contact information from your pet’s microchip and help reunite you and your furry friend.
