Zivaz Mexican Bistro

I'm fairly tolerant of bad service as I once waited tables and I know what's it like sometimes but the service here that day was simply unacceptable. We were a group of six, two ordered, two other small groups of customers ordered, then the rest of our group arrived and ordered. Two dishes came out, then about 5 minutes later two more, then about 5 minutes later a fifth. The sixth? Arrived when we were all done eating. Then it was totally wrong so back it went and we waited even longer.



I talked to the cashier who gave excuses, I talked to the manager who gave the same excuses "Oh your party didn't order at the same time". So explain why the guy who ordered FIRST, was one of the last to get his meal, so that excuse went out the window. Then all I got was apologies. When I used to wait tables and then as assistant manager, if a customer got that horrible of service I would never offer excuses and I would discount or even comp the meal.



For the price they charge, the food was simply ok, nothing special. Chips seemed stale. Had fajitas, two small tortillas, small spoonful of meat (again, not great), beans and rice and a salad with a horrible tasting dressing. I will never go there again.
