I read an awful review of Jerry's and could NOT disagree more. Jerry and his deck hand, their boat (including the head) is comfortable, CLEAN, and well equipped. THEY KNOW THEIR STUFF and put us on the local Chinooks right off the bat. They don't just "set the rigs and forget it" - constantly adjusting depth, speed, lures, and fishing locations. You will NOT be disappointed folks - try them and later that night - cook up your salmon fresh for our own Puget Sound waters.

Captain Jerry uses a dirty board to clean his fish

Just went out with Captain Jerry over the weekend. He touted that the salmon were running and they have been pulling in a 20+ pounders. He also said we would be able to fish for rock fish. He said over the phone that we would be able to go crabbing. Jerry lied. We caught 0 salmon. Once we were already on the boat and paid, he said we could not fish for rock fish. We booked for a Sunday, which you cannot crab on a Sunday. He should have known that before we booked the trip.

The only saving grace was the fact that my 9 year old son was able to catch two sand dabs (which he called flounders). However, when it came time to clean them, he cleaned them on the same board he was cutting bait with. No, he did not wash the bait board off first.

Jerry's boat needs some maintenance. There is no water (except for the water in buckets). And, don't plan on going #2 in the bathroom, which reeks of urine.

We only caught those two tiny fish and paid almost $600 for 5 of us. Jerry did not offer to give us another trip (or at least a discount). I think he was willing to lie about the abundance of fish just to keep clients on his boat. He probably needs to keep the funds up to pay for his expensive boat slip location. I would be surprised if Jerry gets any repeat business--he will not be getting mine.
