Wound Care
Throughout his career, Dr. Adler has been involved in research pertaining to the field of surgery and wound care. He did extensive research in autologous biologics with Harvest Technologies developing a specialized procedure using the patient’s own concentrated cells in a serum that is applied to a wound to help healing. He also helped develop applications in tissue glue and wound healing technology. Dr Adler’s expertise on wound care has led him to write numerous research papers including “Enhancing Wound Healing with Growth Factors” in Facial Plastic Surgery Clinics of North America. He also authored several chapters in the book “Aesthetic Rejuvenation Challenges and Solutions... A Word Prospective”. Working in a multi ethnic Miami community gave him a unique experience with plastic surgery with different ethnicities. His expertise in Spanish led him to be invited to author the chapters The Aging Face in Multiethnic World and Hispanic Plastic Surgery in that book.

Brow Lift
An Endoscopic Brow lift is a procedure done to raise a drooping or heavy brow. This procedure reduces wrinkles on the forehead and heaviness in the glabella. The brow line can be repositioned which can lessen or eliminate sagging upper eyelids. Overall, an Endoscopic Brow lift will create a lighter and more youthful appearance. The use of endsoscopes greatly reduces recovery time and is less invasive requiring smaller inscisions.
Eyelid Surgery
A Blepharoplasty or eyelid surgery is a procedure that changes the appearance and/or function of the eyelids. The upper and lower eyelids can become loose over time and negatively affect a person’s ability to see. Loose, droopy skin or muscle and fat deposits can make the eyes appear puffy and tired which can drastically change the face.
Liposuction
Small amounts of adipose fat are extracted from the abdomen, hip, or thigh area using a thin liposuction cannula. The fat is then filtered through a process called centrifuging which results in a pure liquid fatty tissue that can be injected into the chosen areas. The procedure can be performed under local anesthesia but intravenous anesthesia is also an option.
Rhinoplasty

Dr. Adler received his undergraduate degree at Washington University in St Louis. He continued his education at the Medical College of Pennsylvania and completed his residency at Temple University School of Medicine and a fellowship at McCollough Plastic Surgery in Birmingham, Alabama.
Face Lift
A Rhytidectomy, also known as a Facelift, is a surgical procedure that reshapes the lower half of the face and tightens the skin on the neck. Some areas that can be addressed by having a face lift are the loss of elasticity in the skin, the lack of muscle tone in the face and jowls, and deep creases around the mouth. A slimmer jaw line and more youthful appearance can be achieved by picking up and removing the hanging or excess facial skin, creating a better overall profile. Blepharoplasty
During an upper Blepharoplasty procedure, the surgeon makes an incision in the crease of the eyelid, trims the sagging skin and/or muscle and removes any fat. Once the excess tissue is removed, it is sutured together. The sutures are hidden by the crease of the eyelid with two separate sutures at the corners of the eyes. During the lower Blepharoplasty procedure, an incision is made at the lash line. The fat pouches, sagging skin, and muscle are removed then the suture is tightened to close.

Ears that protrude away from the head can be pinned back to create a more flattering appearance.
