Richmond Valley offers routine procedures such as spays and neuters, but our skilled doctors are capable of many more life-improving and life-saving operations. We are experienced in many reproductive surgical procedures, abdominal surgery, orthopedic surgery, urogenital surgery as well as many other life improving procedures. We even have a technologically advanced surgical laser, which makes procedures such as onychectomy, or declawing, and many other soft tissue surgeries fast, accurate, and speed up recovery time. Our assistive staff is rigorously trained to monitor your pet before, during, and after every surgery so you can be confident that your animal will experience a smooth recovery.

Laboratory Services
Our in-house laboratory offers the most cutting edge equipment available. Our CBC and blood chemistry analyzers can give us answers in as little as fifteen minutes, which is convenient for routine checks and critical in dire emergencies. We also have an advanced urinalysis system that scans urine sediment and flags potential problems. Our staff is also well trained in checking fecal samples for parasites.
Microchipping
Tagged collars and leashes can easily fall off or can be taken off and hence microchipping your pet is the safest and the easiest way to ensure that your pet is tagged as yours and has a high probability to be returned to you.

Boarding
The training facility is located in the building behind Richmond Valley Veterinary Practice (previously Richmond Boarding & Grooming). It will be open for visitation Monday through Thursday between 10 am to 6 pm. Please feel free to drop in and meet the trainer and discuss classes and services.
Grooming
Richmond Valley offers expert pet grooming services. Our groomers, Julie & Danielle, will cut, bathe, primp, and pamper both dogs and cats.
Dog Training
We are excited to announce that Keyrak Dog Training Club has officially opened its training facility right here on the Richmond Valley campus!
