I have used Murray for many years. Last summer they installed a new furnace and air conditioning system for me and my utility bills have been a lot less! The technicians are so friendly and knowledgeable and they really know what they're doing! I have recommended them to many of my friends over the years.

Avoid this place at all costs. We have a Murray installed Carrier furnace (8 yrs old). We have had them out for service calls 3-4 times. We were always suspicious that our run of the mill unit that they sold us usually required "special parts" and multiple visits to repair, but paid anyway. Our blower motor went out Sat night, so we foolishly called them again. After an hour or so, the technician declared that we needed a "special motor" that he did not have and that he would have to make a special trip to the warehouse to get it (for an extra $100). The warehouse did not open up for him, so he returned that night to install a temporary motor. He then returned on Tuesday to install the correct motor. He left an "itemized" bill that totaled $1000 even. My wife called the office to discuss the bill because we felt that the time was overstated, wondered why he left his van running in our driveway the whole time and then charged us a fuel surcharge and how it conveniently came to $1000 even. She was told the owner would call her back. Before he called, the technician RETURNED TO OUR HOME, entered through a door he claims was ajar and demanded that my visibly pregnant wife sign the bill. She told him that she had called the office to discuss the bill and would not sign. He became belligerent and said he would not leave unless she signed (I was on the phone with her and heard the entire exchange). She had the call the police to have him removed from our property. When the owner finally called me back, he defended his employee's actions and refused to adjust the bill (which was a minor concern after his employee basically tried to strong arm my wife into signing the bill). I know this is a long standing company and that they will likely say we are crazy, but this is all true. We plan to just pay them the $1000 even to make this go away, but wanted to warn others against letting these people into your home.
