Midnight Towing & Recovery

If I could give 0 stars I would. As a tow company what you need to do is fairly straightforward. My vehicle broke down and I requested a tow to the closest mechanic. It was about a 4 hour wait which was fine. I asked if I could leave the keys under the tire and head out and I was told okay. The car was locked so they had to retrieve they key to open it.

This was on 12/30 so I knew it was going to be a few days before I could talk to mechanic but on 1/2 I was able to and the mechanic could not find the keys. I thought maybe they got left on the side of the road but the car was unlocked and I checked where it was parked. Keys were gone.

I called Midnight Towing and was told it was the 3rd shift driver and they would ask where he put them. The next day I had not gotten a response so I called them again to be told they were put in the cup holder. I called the mechanic who assured me they were not there. After looking further they were not in the cup holder, the dash, the center console, the gas cap, in the trunk, or stuck under any wheels.

I called Midnight Towing back to be told the driver was going to go help look for the keys. Two days later I called the mechanic who said the driver never came out. At this point it seemed clear that Midnight Towing lost my keys and I had to get the vehicle rekeyed. I attempted to call Midnight Towing a few more times but got no answers so moved on with insurance. Now they are speaking with my insurance and claiming they left the keys. It‘a fairly insulting that they think multiple grown adults can’t find keys in a cup holder.

I considered that maybe the keys were stolen in the mechanics lot but this is not the case as nothing else in the vehicle was disturbed. My set of work keys was still in the cup holder but the car key was not. I imagine a thief would’t have just stolen a single loose key for a broken car and left everything else.

I was disabled on the freeway and my driver Jeremy was awesome in making sure we were ok, he was very pleasant and fast. Congratulations Jeremy on the baby and engagement again great guy.

Lady behind counter VERY RUDE and UNPROFESSIONAL, rushed, seemed as though we were intruding. Would NOT recommend this company

20 hrs after tow, car still sitting on tow truck. They will not let me remove anything from car till they have someone come in and unload it off the truck. Completely unacceptable as a tow company. With several other tow company options in the area I would use one of them instead of Midnight Towing.

First off The lady at the front desk is extremely rude and hateful. Upon arriving to get my vehicle I asked her to look up something on the net for me simply to help save time and she replied she would not do that for customers. She is a very nasty & hateful individual this is the worst company I have ever encountered and the lady was never helpful she needs to leave this company she is the downfall for it. Besides this company overcharging and horrible staff i feel bad for anyone who has their vehichle towed off by this company! I will also be reporting to the BBB

These guys are liars and dumb they couldn't find the place where my street was and also charged me for driving over 15 miles but it was only towed 12 miles call someone else they will screw you over

Every time I call this Company with questions the Lady is always rude she continues to talk over me to the point where I have to literally ask her can I talk now.... Very unprofessional. All I ask if she can listen so I can get my question answered to my satisfaction. Just so I can do what I need to be done . I don't even want to call because just me asking questions literally almost turns into An argument everytime I don't understand if you don't like your job why work at it .

Driver of towing truck almost ran me off road. When I called the main office, the supervisor told me that "He (the driver) had to drive that way to get to an accident." The driver continued to drive erratically cutting others off, speeding in a construction zone, and driving in the emergency lane at a very fast speed. I don't find that necessary especially when he almost caused several accidents. Might I mention, I'm eight months pregnant. I saw the accident that he was responding to, it was in the median... Not that urgent. I will never use this company.

The owner of this company ran a stop sign and almost sideswiped me. I told the police officer nearby who didn't care because the guy was towing for Sellersburg Police.

Driver cut me off with a towed car in the back that almost hit me then flipped me off. Would never use a company so rude and careless about their cargo.

We used these guys at one point, I think they changed the name of their company to Fast Lane Recovery because they werent doing a very good job for mistly anyone in the business from what i was told later. Anyways , we had a few cars come back banged up pretty bad with these guys and a few things missing as well. When we called the insurance company they didnt have insurance as they said they did when we hired them. My company lost a good penny over these guys ( STAY AWAY FROM THEM ******************
