        At LayRoots we call ourselves Lawyer-Humans® because we not only provide amazing legal documents and services, but we also focus on building human relationships with our clients. Our goal is to be your trusted advisor throughout your lifetime. I have three primary clients. My first primary clients are families that have minor children at home. Traditional estate planners just sell documents to their clients. I make sure parents have a solid plan in place, that works when you need it, so your children are always taken care of by the people you want, in the way you want, no matter what. My second primary clients are 1-2 owner businesses, who want a simple plan to ensure their assets and wealth are not lost to frivolous lawsuits or future creditors. Simply having an LLC does not always provide the level of protection its owners may believe they have. My third primary clients are people who own rental / investment property in their own name, but would like to reduce their risk and exposure through business planning. Proper planning can help avoid excise tax, avoid triggering a "due-on-sale" clause, and keep your ownership details out of public databases.
