Myelography (Myelogram) is a diagnostic test of the spine and its nerves. A special x-ray -sensitive dye or “tint” material is injected into the fluid space surrounding the spine and nerves. Sciatica
Similar to the cervical epidural injections described above, a lumbar epidural steroid injection places a steroid medicine around the spinal nerves of the low back. These nerves can often get “pinched” by a bulging disc or other spine problems, and may cause lower back pain and/or leg pain (sciatica).

After graduating from high school, Jesse attended a junior college in Hutchinson, Kansas where he participated in baseball. He later graduated in 2001 from California State University of Fullerton with a B.S. in Kinesiology. Following graduation, he assisted a research team at the Center for Successful Aging in Fullerton studying the efficacy of a balance program for older adults with disability. Jesse also worked as a sports trainer and physical therapy aide at athletic performance and physical therapy facilities in Southern and Northern California. He completed his Masterâ€™s degree in Physician Assistant studies at Loma Linda University 2008. Jesse completed orthopedic rotations at Gustafson Orthopedic Clinic, Loma Linda Medical Center, and Arrowhead Regional Medical Center while attending Loma Linda.
