I made an appointment, met with Loandra Berg, and had an oxymeter test. When I took the oxymeter back in the next day the receptionist at the front desk told me that Karen would call me later that day with the results of the test to let me know if I needed another sleep apnea test. After calling several times, begging for them to call me back I was able to finally talk with Karen 4 full days later. I asked her why I wasn't given a call back, and why do I have to call and beg for her to call me back, when the receptionist told me she would call me. Karen Bowthorpe said the receptionist had no business telling me that, because she isn't the nurse. She put me on hold for a few minutes. When she came back she was rude, yelled at me and put me on hold again. My husband got on the phone with her and when he tried to talk with her she yelled at him and hung up on him. Karen told me that the doctor had barely sent the test results back, BUT when we called to ask to talk directly to the doctor the receptionist told us the doctor was out of town and would not be back in until Tuesday. I will be going to another sleep study. But what an expensive mistake! Holy cow! I would never ever ever ever deal with this person or Loandra for the very rudeness and lies Karen told. When a person hires someone like Karen I figure they are about the same caliber. With all the sleep centers in the valley I would definitely try to find an HONEST one and Alta View is NOT it.
