California Headache & Pain Ctr

This doctor has litterally changed my world of wheelchairs and endless pain, to a walking life of peace and hope. I have 14 bulging discs, severe arthritis, neuropathy, fibromyalgia, and chronic fatigue syndrome. He is the only doctor I have found who has been able to help me. Five stars are not high enough to rate him and his staff.

His combination of Eastern and Western medicine offers an extremely effective and holistic alternative to addictive pain meds and surgery. His process is unique and amazing.

He has been my neurologist for over three years now, as of October 2016. I have since moved two hours away from his office, and still drive down to him for my pain management. He has no equal in my opinion.

Unbelievable! First visit. My son is in severe pain. We arrive at the appointment on time. After 1.5 hours of waiting, I see what I think is the doctor walk through the lobby and head downstairs to the lower part of the entry (which is an atrium). Down there are a couple of gardeners working on planting plants and arranging stones. He decides they are not doing the job correctly and not just corrects them verbally - but JOINS them. He is down on his knees arranging stones and moving plants around, his hands in the dirt. This goes on for 20 minutes. I head over to the reception desk and am told that we are next and that the doctor is in with a patient. Really...I go back over the the atrium and politely ask if he is Dr. Zhao. He doesn't even look up at me and says in an annoyed manner "I will be with you in a minute friend". His plants and rocks are more important that my son who is in pain. Completely unprofessional.
