North Hills Family Medicine and Pediatrics

My whole family has been going here since it opened and I've never had an issue. Dr. Geralde has found less invasive ways to treat our ailments which were spot on. His network of associated specialist are the best in San Antonio. I understand that due to the staff and his knowledge and and compassion that his office is constantly busy now (compared to years ago) but I've never felt rushed on any visit. Seems to me that the people who complain all the time are the ones who write reviews, so I'm happy to offset their negativity by one.

Excellent physician! not one to be a pill pusher like some doctors are. Has blood labs in his office too, which is convenient.

This has to be the most poorly run office I have ever encountered! While Dr. Earp and his Nurse Practitioner, Lindsey, are great- the office staff are rude, lack customer service skills, and are unprofessional! I have never written a review in my life, however, I feel compelled to warn everyone about this family practice office. Please save yourselves the heartache and receive your care elsewhere!

I gave this office a chance to redeem themselves after they ordered a abdominal ultrasound instead pelvic last year for what turned out to be a run-of-the-mill infection. It took 6 phone calls and two weeks to get the error resolved.



But now they are changing my thyroid medicine despite both normal t-3 and t-4 test results. They are refusing to give an explanation. I am going to have to get my results reviewed by a second doctor to find out what is going. There is no longer any desire to deliver patient care at this office. No one cares that what they do makes no sense and could be an error.

I've only been here two times but Dr. Naron, and Physician Assistant Rudy are great. I get all the test needed for what I come in for. The wait is good. Staff is friendly. Even though they were busy the Dr stopped to ask me about a previous facial issue I had that blew my mind.

North Hills Family Medicine at Westover HIlls is now run by Dr. Geralde. This office has gone to hell since the other doctors left. It is plainly obvious why they left. Dr. Geralde is a selfish and rude doctor who is more concerned with his outfit and hair than a patient's well being. BEWARE other patients, when you have the gall to question Dr. Geralde and his shady insurance practices he will find a way to retaliate. We run out of medication today for our daughter, so to stick it to us Dr. Geralde wrote our prescription for next week. The true mark of a man who is in the wrong line of work for the wrong reasons. I will make sure Dr. Geralde's reputation is kept alive in all my parent circles and my all of my contacts in my health care career, as a doctor who is not only remarkably rude and condescending, but will retaliate at every chance. Dr. Geralde's immature behavior brings great shame to North Hills Family Medicine and military medicine. Hopefully he'll be out of business soon.

I have been with Dr. Geralde for years now and have never found him to be "rude" or have an "awful" bedside manner. I find him easy to talk to, understanding and very knowledgeable. I never have a problem getting in to see him when I am ill and never find my treatments lacking. I would recommend him to all of my family, friends and total strangers without question or doubt.

Dr. Geralde is a very rude person, who has lack of respect for his patients and his staff. His bedside manner is awful. He is just there to make his money and that's it. He spends less than 15 minutes with you at a visit, he tells you he is coming right back and never comes back, instead he sends his medical assistant in to give medications and we are told we are free to go. We informed the medical assistant that he did not give us time to ask our questions. The medical assistant tried to bring him back in the room with out success. She said we can send him a message and call you when he responds. His front desk also talks about patients freely at the front desk and the front desk is quite rude as well.

The standard of care at this practice has disintegrated to an all time low. Incompetent staff, rushed Physicians (when you actually get to see one), and inaccurate billing mar this poorly run office. Don't expect to get your lab results over the phone or even to receive a phone call. You will receive a generic letter indicating your results were abnormal. Your results won't be released without another visit. Don't bother with this billing centric quagmire of ineptitude.

This practice has really gone down hill. I would agree with the last person about him being a ticking time bomb; furthermore he has no bedside manner. In the past year he has diagnosed wrong or treated something with a medicine that was not approved. His staff turns over constantly which in my opinion is a reflection of him.

Dr. Renato Geralde is very unprofessional! He is like a time bomb, don't set him off because he will be soo cruel! He's treats his staff like crap! And he even yells at them in front of patients! I don't know how Dr. Earp and Dr. Naron work with him, but they are awesome! Geralde on the other hand needs anger management and help! He has issues!
