Mamma Maria's

Had dinner on 7/16 with my wife. The red sauce we both had was pretty bad - tasted metallic. My chicken dish was tough - you could tell it had been nuked - not cooked in sauce. Her shrimp and scallop dish was so tough and old tasting it was unedible. The meats were not fresh at all. Service was good and the servings were huge. The food was just plain bad.

There is a group of at least 10 of us who go at least once a week to Mama Maria's. We have a wonderful time. We love the food and you can't beat the prices. There is always leftovers, and they are wonderful the next day for lunch. The drink specials and appetizers are great during Happy Hour. Where else can you get an Italian Margarita for $3.00 on Wednesdays? The atmosphere is great, the bartender is wonderful and the waitresses do tend to get a bit busy at times but we always have a wonderful time. The manager, Dominick, is a wonderful person and his finance is always close by. When his father is in town, he will visit your table and if you are lucky enough, he will show you some of the wonderful vegetables he grows. If you are looking for a family restaurant that people of all ages can enjoy, this is the place. If you are looking for a restaurant where you feel like family or for a place to have a private party that is reasonable, this is definitely the place. Enjoy!!!!

This is not even close to what real italian is.... Just because they have play some italian music, that doesn't make it.... The food was horrible!!!

THE SERVICE WAS ELIMATED BECAUSE THE WAITRESS WAS BUSY IN THE BACK WITH A LARGE PARTY AND THE MANAGER SAID THERE WAS NOTHING HE COULD DO BECAUSE THEY HAD MORE PEOPLE THAN HE HAD PLANNED. WE HAD NO BREAD OR DRINKS DURING THE MEAL AND HAD TO ASK TO RECEIVE THE CHECK.
