Luv Manicures and Pedicures

Amateur nail techs and poor customer service... The receptionist was very rude.... Nail tech got polish all over my cuticles and attempted get it off but failed so she left it there.... Another tech cleaned up her mess after I was waiting for 5-10 mins because told me they would have someone else fix it but they didn't budge. When my cousin and I left we could the receptionist and I assume manager talking about us because we were parked at the front door! Never again!

This place was terrible.

The staff dressed unprofessionally, spend the entire time complaining and talking about themselves, don't believe the customer is right and have no problem lying to the customer.

I recently went in for shellac nails and I picked out a color, the woman put on a different one and was complaining about how terrible the color is to put on. I complained the next day they promised to redo it free of charge then when I went in to get that done they wanted to charge me, told me the manager was the woman who did the service which was incorrect and refused to give me the number of someone higher up. The woman who messed up the first time came over in front of everyone called me a liar and told me how wrong I was very unprofessionally.

Terrible place I'm never returning.

I actually would not even give this place 1 star. WORST--and I mean WORST costumer service ever. Receptionist was very rude. They definitely do not care about making their customers happy. I went there for the first time last weekend for a Bachelorette party and will never return. My nails looked horrible also. I would of rather supported a local salon within my area rather than supporting a business that is run without the supervision of an owner. I called and complained and am still waiting for the owner to call me back (he lives in another state supposedly). Absolutely ridiculous. It was an overall disaster. Rude, rude, and did I say rude!! Don't go here please!! Spend your money elsewhere! I'd be surprised if they stay in business much longer.

I went to the royal oak location on Tuesday the first week of opening I was very much surprised at the professionalism and cleansiness of the salon. The receptionist was very friendly and the guy walking around i was not sure who he was but he was friendly and funny and made me feel quite welcoming. I had the middle mani/pedi for 49.00 and i must say it was worth every dime. My tech was a african american woman whish was very knowledgwable about natural nail care and gave me really good suggestions on maintaining healthy natural nails, I asked her about getting fake nails and she said maam I can give you whatever you would like but I would recomend that you stay natural and try the gel polish. (I had asked about gel nails) she said I had a nice full nail bed and asked me why did I want the gel nails I told her to keep my polish on and make them stronger. She told me my nails were in good shape and to try the gel polish. I didnt get it that day but I did respect her honesty and proffesionalism. I found out when my nails were drying that the girls work on commision that made me even happier to know that the nail tech could have made more money off of me by doing the gel nails than doing the gel polish that lets me know even more I have just found a new nail tech and a new salon, I cant remember my techs name but I have her cardat home, I remember its looks like april but its not and its spelled different. but if you are looking for a new nail tech I highly suggest her and the Luvs in royal oak.
