Allowing this woman to perform her "experimental" surgery on my son in 2010 is the worst, most regrettable mistake of my life. For the severe pain that followed, she prescribed over 1,300 narcotic pills in 90 days--prescriptions investigated by the California Medical Board and found NEGLIGENT by the Board of Podiatric Medicine. Using bone grafts from his hip and state-of-the-art bone growth stimulants, surgeons at both Stanford and UC Davis were unable to accomplish the fusion Duckworth said he he still could "undergo anyways" if her joint removal and replacement with off-label usage of an equine bio-implant failed. Sixyears and five painful surgeries later, at age 24, his foot remains permanently damaged, he remains in chronic pain and narcotic pain management--and continues in psychiatric care. Duckworth left Summit Orthopedics in November of 2012 (I'd like to think I had something to do with that.) and in 2015 was hired by Kaiser.
