Tilted Kilt

My group of co-workers and I visited just yesterday and were immensely disappointed. Not simply for the makings of the restaurant, but for the sheer lack of customer satisfaction.
We were slightly unhappy days prior, finding out that we were not allowed to make a reservation at this place for our lunch rendezvous, but upon arrival, we couldn't even make a request for what server we planned to re-visit, whose section, might I add, was nearly empty. I have known this server from other restaurants and pride her for her outstanding service, but for this exact detail the manager said that we were not allowed to sit in her section. This happened to be one of two reasons I suggested this place to celebrate the retirement of our dear friend, and the other was for how close it is to our current job-site.
The server we got stuck with was, needless to say, inadequate. She had to ask what drinks we had when refills were actually brought out; we were empty 3/4's of our entire visit, and when our food was finally brought out (after 40 minutes!) it was to only half of our whopping 8-top table. By the time the second half of our order came out, the four who had food had finished their meals. At one point we tried to get Courtney's attention for this matter and drink refills and she replied with "Can't you see I'm busy?"
It is to my understanding that lunch rush can become overwhelming for a crew in new chain, but never should any server behave like they don't have time for their customers.
This girl did not make a good tip from us, and this restaurant will not see any of my crew or money again. Next time I will drive past this place and suggest our affairs to take place elsewhere.
