I have been a customer of your Bloomingdale Avenue store for five years.

I have stopped for coffee, gas, water, and perhaps a banana of sandwich five days per week at 5:30 am.

I know it's not much, but I think a lot of your customers are like me.

Recently, I have noticed your employees attitudes have gone sour.

No smiles, no "good morning" or thank you or "have a nice day".

But the especially irritating thing for me is only one person running a register and there is frequently a line of six or more people, like this morning.

There are employees standing around who I know are register trained.

And yet they do not step up to a vacant register.

Running late, I came up with the exact change (as I do most days) and dropped it on the counter thinking someone could ring it up later when there was no line and I started to exit.

I was called back by the employee, who was doing nothing but could have been operating a register, and was told I could not leave.

Well, I did leave !

I left my coffee, picked up my money and went down the street and bought coffee.

The gal who took my money there was far more pleasant.

I will likely not return to your store.

Just thought you might like to know.

If it were my store, I would.
