North Carolina-based Healing Transitions is a non-profit organization offering peer based recovery programs to handle alcohol and other addictions and homelessness to residents in North Raleigh neighborhood. Services offered by the clinic include outpatient recovery, providing overnight emergency shelters for men and women separately, health care clinic for homeless people and providing support to not only those dealing with addiction but to the entire family of the participants. The clinic also focuses on long term recovery of its patients and motivating them to pursue employment, ensuring financial stability and make themselves independent. The clinic has separate campuses for men and women in North Carolina.
