House of Reptiles

When I first walked into this "pet store" I was very impressed. They take what looks like wonderful care of their pets, and they're clean, though their employees could afford to smile every now and again. However, after browsing for awhile, I realized that their main focus was to get as much product as possible out their doors. What I mean is they have obviously done no research on some of their offered products outside of what the label tells them. Their employees should be knowledgeable and smart- not reciting what you could read to yourself. I heard many products recommended by them to customers that with a simple Google search anyone would realize these products are very bad for their pets. Such as when an employee told a child that she should rub Vitashell all over her turtles beak, shell, and skin. Which is great advice if you're trying to kill it. Overall, their shop is pretty and there's tons of cool pets to look at (and dead betas if you're into that) but do your own research

Very nice and knowledgable staff. Found exactly what I was looking for. Fun place just to go look at. check out the Burmese Python!
