General Info: Located in Pleasanton, Calif., ValleyCare Medical Center is a part of the ValleyCare Health System, which was established in 1961 and provides medical care services in tri-valley and surrounding communities. The ValleyCare Health System is a nonprofit health system that maintains various facilities in Livermore and Pleasanton, Calif. It is a locally owned system that has more than 200 beds and is comprised of over 300 employees. The system offers a range of inpatient and outpatient services. The ValleyCare Health System provides as acute rehabilitation, athletic training, diagnostic imaging, mammography, orthopedics and surgical services. It also maintains a skilled nursing facility that is a 20-plus-bed post-acute unit that provides physical and occupational therapy services. The system additionally administers various fundraising events and campaigns.
