Tenants all signed a lease based off of model apartments, and once we moved in the building was far from completed. The finish project is very cheap and is not properly manage/maintain. The building had a list of issues, such as electrical issues and plumbing issues which are serious problems. The issues were so bad that several tenants moved out. None of the apartments are painted and the wooden floors are the cheapest of its kind. No lights in the living room or bathroom. The Kitchens are nice, but the bathrooms look like college dorm bathrooms. The building and around the building hardly ever gets cleaned, so the greenery looks extremely bad and the trash from the dumpster just ends up lying against the gates. If it wasn't for the apartments being new, I can only imagine what kind of other major issues we will have. Loop holes in the contracts, no emergency hotline. If you have an issue you can forget about them being resolve, you mind as well become your own property manager. These apartments are not worth the price that they want. No fire doors and or security system. The buildings that MM Partners are creating are in no shape or form built to compete with properties in Northern Liberties and other neighborhoods. I recommend moving to a place that you feel safe where you'll receive a great service and product. The price that we are paying is worth more than the actual product. There are no amenities that come with these apartments, and you do not have a door person, or anything that will make it worth the stay. All tenants are responsible for water, and some tenants pay for parking on a monthly basis, even though parking outside the gate is never an issue and it's free. The contacts at MM Partners lack professionalism and can be rather ignorant.
