I went to see Dr. Hu for hoarseness. As a singer, I was natually very nervous. Dr. Hu was great! I got an appointment to see her very quickly. She spent lots of time with me. She took a detailed history and coaxed me through the physical examination. I was nervous about the flexible laryngoscopy, but she explained everything before she did it. She also reviewed the findings with me and gave me a clear plan. She seems to understand what a professional voice user needs. She referred me on to her speech therapists and they were also great. I trusted her opinion and would recommend others to see her too.
