This company is a joke and staffed with incompetent employees. It takes at least 30 minutes on hold to reach anyone. That may seem harsh but true. My mother had a policy and passed away last week. My sister is the beneficiary and called them to find out the value of her policy so she could complete the claims form. There was a problem because her birth date was not what the insurance company had on record. They would give her the value of the policy because of this. The undertaker called Conseco and told them he has her birth certificate and gave them the correct date. They ignored him. They still refuse to give my sister the value of the policy and she cannot submit the claim for without it. They have placed her in a position where she must engage an attorney to recover the value of the policy. If you have a policy with them better call and check your account.
