Genuine, honest & caring staff. Do not mistake a fancy, high-priced facility for quality care or a "better place" to leave your pet. I have had my dog, Aesa, for 6 years. She is a 100# blue nose APBT who is also my service dog and has been fully trained/working since she was about 2. In that time I've left her for a TOTAL of less than two weeks, NEVER with anyone besides my family and have ALWAYS ended trips/returned early consumed with worry. I NEVER considered a day I could travel without her but knew I'd never board her for 4 min let alone 4 days. A few months ago I had an emergency and didn't have time to even check REVIEWS. By the time I called Furshire I had enough denials that I expected them-not only did I get a cheery "YES" but she VERY patiently fielded a million questions but helped me get vet records & got her in that day. I only had a bag of food/leash & while I had no choice but to leave her I also didn't feel consumed with worry. I got texts/pictures of her with updates, thankfully I was able to pick her up the next day. I just was able to take a trip to visit a friend...I was given updates/sent pictures, told HONESTLY when she was whining/not eating-MOSTLY: I KNEW my SERVICE DOG was being LOVED and snuggled, that not only were my wishes respected but understood: the knowledge and experience the owner, as well as her carefully vetted staff, bring to the care provided to animals with them is under appreciated and makes them beyond over qualified for the job they do at Furshire-which seems to be more of a passion and mission..... yet snuggling your fur baby, providing it care exceeding ANY expectation you may have and keeping them safe is all they care about! She spent less than a day with Nikki but as soon as she saw her she ran in circles and sat on her lap-totally fine with us leaving. THAT is freedom, THAT kind of animal care is truly a rare gem: every pet coming/going was certain they weren't in a hurry to leave. Oasis. Blessing.Game changer.

Provided by SuperpagesThis place is the best place for my furry critters and should be for yours too. Janene and staff are fabulous. Just picked my boys on Saturday. One of my guys is a special needs pup struggling with diabetes which I had just found out about this past month. I knew nothing about this illness and was struggling to get his levels stabilized. While gone The Furshire super staff were able to do this for me. He was running and jumping like my old boy used to on Saturday when I got there. On Sunday Janene called to see how he was doing and while on the phone I saw him jump up on the couch all by himself...something he hasn't done in 3 months. Furshire, I cannot thank you enough for all your work and help. Such a great facility, my boys love going there. Deb

Provided by SuperpagesI have been taking my dog to The Furshire for about three months. She is a very shy dog, and was hesitant and nervous at first, but she has really come out of her shell over the past few months. She is better with people and dogs now that she has been more exposed to both during her time at doggy daycare. She is always excited to get there and is a very happy dog at the end of each day she spends with her aunties the staff who are AWESOME! They are so friendly and they definitely love dogs. I cannot express how happy I am to have found The Furshire!

Provided by SuperpagesThe Furshire is without a doubt the best place I've found to leave my dog Sam (a very energetic Australian Shepherd). I've been taking him there for the last 4 yrs and we both love it. Because I have family back East, Sam stays at The Furshire (formerly Bow-Wow Daycare & Boarding) for weeks at a time. Rather than spend hours each day in a confined space, he stays and plays with a group of dogs most of the day, moving throughout the day into several different "play" areas (at no extra charge!). It's like being at the dogpark all day! He returns to his private "space" for a quiet time period during the day and then again for overnight. This last time he stayed, I got him back fit and trim because he was so active with all his "friends". Stop by and check them out; the staff is friendly and caring and would be happy to show you around. I leave Sam there with great piece of mind, knowing he is being well cared for. The Furshire is truly Sams home away from home!
