Emergency Care
Many different specialists now offer liposuction including: plastic surgeons, dermatologists, gynecologists, general surgeons, emergency room physicians, family physicians, etc. Choosing a physician based on his specialty does not insure a good result. Your surgeon should have completed additional specialized training in liposuction. He or she should have considerable experience in the procedure, willing to show you before and after photographs and even have you talk to some of his patients. It is advisable to check your state medical board website to see if there have been any problems with the physician you have selected.
Colonoscopy
We perform our facelifts under local anesthesia with MAC sedation, very similar to that of a colonoscopy. While we do not use general anesthesia, our patients are completely asleep and feel absolutely nothing during the procedure awakening only when we’re done with no memory at all of the surgery.

Ultrasound
Helium is normally inert non-reactive gas; however when it is ionized with radiofrequency energy it becomes very reactive, and a state that scientists refer to as “plasma”. When the helium plasma contacts the undersurface of the skin, it tightens it instantly to a degree that is unmatched by other current technologies such as ultrasound, radiofrequency or lasers. Additionally, the helium plasma is much cooler than laser energy, making it far safer. By the time we are in our mid-thirties, our eyebrows start to drop. As we age, this descent of our eyebrows becomes more obvious with the following consequences: hooding of the skin above our upper eyelids, “crow’s feet” wrinkles at the outer edge of our eyes, a narrowed appearance of our eyes, horizontal forehead lines, and vertical frown lines; all tending to make us look older, sadder, or angrier.
Eyelid Surgery
W hen compared to other cosmetic surgical procedures, targeting the excess skin from the upper eyelids and fat from the lower eyelids are small procedures. However, the results of these surgeries are often the most dramatic and satisfying of any we perform. The technical name for the eyelid surgery is blepharoplasty. In our practice, we perform our blepharoplasties with the carbon dioxide laser.
Liposuction
W ith good reason, the majority of cosmetic surgeons, dermatologists and plastic surgeons who practice liposuction are very reluctant or decline altogether to perform this procedure on calves. For many, it’s just too difficult to achieve satisfactory results on this area of the body. Requiring meticulous technique, a strong aesthetic sense of just how calves should look, and experience, hard to come by, as requests for this procedure are rare, calf liposuction is quite demanding. Perhaps, because of the time I spent earlier in my life teaching myself how to draw and paint, improving my eye for proper body symmetry; or perhaps because of my assiduous attention to detail in developing my craft as cosmetic surgeon, I am fortunate to find it both easy and enjoyable to give women the shapely calves they want. Over the years, patients from all over the country and Canada have sought my services to shape their calves, gaining me considerable experience with this procedure.

Breast Reduction
Male breast reduction surgery is exceeding safe. Complications are exceedingly rare; in fact to date, we have had none at all. Some patients require a small touch up procedure using liposuction alone to further improve the results by either targeting additional fat or tightening the skin.

F ollowing weight loss, pregnancy, especially after breastfeeding, some women find their breasts have lost substantial volume and sag undesirably. Blepharoplasty
Age, sun damage, and genetics predispose some people to loose, droopy, redundant skin in some cases can even hang over the eyelashes of the upper eyelids. Upward gaze may be impaired, and the eyelids actually feel heavy. Women particularly find this excess skin a nuisance as it prevents them from applying their eyeshadow properly. The overall effect of this excess skin is a tired and prematurely older appearance. Fortunately, this can be readily corrected with an upper blepharoplasty.

Breast Surgery
Recovery from male breast surgery is remarkably quick. Patients are up and around the day after surgery and can engage in light cardio exercise even then. They wear a tight unobtrusive compression garment underneath their clothing for several weeks. In as little as two or three days, post surgical patients can return to light work. Heavy manual labor, weight training, and contact sports are delayed about two to three weeks following this surgery.
Otoplasty
Outstanding or prominent ears, those that stick out abnormally far from the side of the head can be not only unsightly, but can result in adverse psychological consequences from years of thoughtless teasing from others. To correct this inherited deformity and restore the ears to a more normal position, we perform a procedure known as a set back otoplasty.
