He came to Miami Lakes in 1980 where he established his podiatric practice. Board certified in foot and ankle surgery by the American Board of Podiatric Surgeons, he was asked to chair the department of podiatric surgery at Palmetto General Hospital in 1987, a position he held until 1999. His desire to learn and expand his horizons led him to return to school to become a physician assistant. After returning to school full time for three years, Michael graduated from the Miami Dade Physician Assistant Medical Program in July of 2011. Michael is married to his better half Margaret for 37 years and has four wonderful married children who have blessed them with 15 beautiful grandchildren
