Marken Industries MasterCast Ltd., parent company of the MasterCast line of acrylic products, golf accessories and emblematic jewelry has acquired Marken Industries line from Josef Creations, Inc, Providence RI. The Marken line of emblematic jewelry was established in 1977 and was owned by Josef Creations since the early nineteen eighties. David Katseff, President of MasterCast Ltd., said that the Marken line will be marketed as a separate division of MasterCast Ltd. "Marken is well known in the promotional products industry for their broad line of stock and custom castings, pewter collection of specialty items such as wine accessories and replicas and for their custom collectibles. Although we will continue to promote our strong position in American Made Promotional Products, we will also make available MasterCast Ltd's overseas sourcing resources to our Marken distributors. Joshua Katseff is the newly appointed General Manager of Marken Industries. Joshua joined MasterCast Ltd in the fall of 2005 as the corporation's Marketing Manager. All products supply and customer service operations have been relocated from Providence to MasterCast Ltd's present location in Pawtucket, RI. "We are also very pleased that our long term Marken reps in the Northeast, Midwest and Southwest will continue to service distributors in their areas. Steve Almeida, Scott Lange and Alan Christopher have a total of over 50 years of experience with Marken Industries, and their efforts will be a huge plus during Marken's transition to the new owners", said Mr. Katseff. Marken manufactures a wide selection of quality American-made products including lapel pins, key tags, coins, medallions, bookmark clips, pewter ornaments, golf accessories, wine accessories and much more. The Marken division was established in 1984, and since then, Marken has been providing the promotional products industry with quality products and service that is second to none.
