Okinawa Karate School

After studying at Haggerty's as well as other schools for over 20 years I can highly recommend Haggerty's for beginners as well as for advanced students. They work with everyone at their own level from alternatively-abled to the elderly (of which I am one!).

Haggerty's Martial Arts Center has always had the upmost respected reputation that I've known! About 9 years ago my son joined the team at the age of 6. I was highly impressed with the instruction of true "Martial Arts" training! The Sensei's instruct everyone in the same matter regardless of age or sex.They are truly devoted to everyone! Do to other matters I had to withdraw when my son was only at a level of orange/black striped belt. However,now at the age of 15 he has rejoined with Master Haggerty and his fellow Sensei's, with open arms of welcome I might add! The respect, honor and dignity taught by "Haggerty's Martial Arts" will stay with you forever! On a personal note, 9 years ago I also was a foster parent to one of my niece's whom had come from an unstable environment. I enrolled her in the Kickboxing program,after trying many different teen programs and counseling. All that I can say is Thank God for there devotion! To this day she is a stronger more self confident person!!
