Midwest City Ambulance

Due to type 1 Diabetes, I have had to call this ambulance service quite a few times. There has been a rare occasion when the EMTs are kind, considerate and caring but for the most part, they leave a lot to be desired. I have twice thought I was having a heart attack and I understand that they have a protocol that they must go through but they act like they don't even see a person in dire pain. Last night, my mother had a severe nose bleed that lasted for almost an hour and had soaked everything in site. When they came in and asked her what the problem was she told them, they asked if she wanted to go to the hospital, she said no and they left. They did not take her vitals, they did not check to see how much blood she lost or anything. My father bought a new BP monitor because the one they had was not working and her BP was 190 over 103. Pretty dangerous especially for a 74 year old woman. I am not impressed!
