Dental Examination
With just two dental checkups each year, our team has the chance to catch and treat minor issues so they never have the chance to turn into bigger ones. During this oral exam, your dentist will look at your teeth, gums, bite, jaw, and any existing dental work to make sure everything is in great shape. X-rays
Many patients are concerned about dental X-rays because of the amount of radiation they emit, but with digital X-rays, this no longer needs to be a concern. Compared to traditional, film-based X-rays, digital X-rays expose our patients to 80% LESS radiation, plus they can create images in much less time. And, we’re able to easily manipulate the X-rays just like any other digital image. We can zoom in, color-code, and rotate an image so we’re able to see every little detail and help patients understand what we’re looking at.

Teeth Cleaning
While brushing and flossing are essential to your long-term dental health, there are still many small areas between the teeth and gums that you cannot effectively clean at home. A professional dental cleaning from one of our hygienist can expertly remove any plaque and tartar buildup in your mouth, specifically targeting these trouble spots, to help stop cavities before they even start. Plus, they are also able to break up minor surface stains and keep your smile nice and white!
Fluoride Treatment
Fluoride is a mineral that is added to many toothpastes and community water sources because regular exposure has long been shown to help the teeth stay cavity-free. To give you and your family’s smiles an extra layer of protection, we’re happy to include a complimentary fluoride treatment as part of every regular checkup. It simply involves applying a highly-concentrated fluoride solution to the teeth for a minute or so. It’s quick, it’s painless, and it’s one of the best ways to keep the teeth healthy between appointments.
Dental Sealants
If you have small cavities, get them filled as soon as possible before they grow and cause extensive damage. Professional fluoride treatments and dental sealants can also help deter tooth decay. Some patients have more problems with plaque than others. We'll gladly help you understand the particularities of your mouth and recommend ways to prevent bacteria and tooth decay.

Fillings
Resin Composite
We have chosen to not use silver amalgam (mercury) fillings because the technology involved with them is well over one hundred years old. There are also several disadvantages to amalgam, including seepage and mercury content. At Grand Dental Studio, our general dentists provide patients with the newest, and what we consider to be the best, alternatives, which are bonded composite resin fillings.
Veneers
To permanently whiten your teeth, consider LUMINEERS or veneers. These natural-looking restorations bond to natural teeth, and they never stain. Let us know how you would prefer to whiten and brighten your teeth! We will make it happen.
Crowns
The American Dental Association recommends that you see your dentist at least twice each year for a dental checkup. At your checkup, we will inspect your soft tissues for oral cancer, periodontal disease, and other problems. The dentist will also look at each tooth in your mouth to assess problems like decay or cracks, as well as assessing old dental work. Sometimes, old dental work wears out and needs to be replaced. We will be happy to replace metal fillings, inlays, onlays, and crowns with tooth-colored alternatives.
