buzz motors on 2813 N shields ...

buzz motors on 2813 N shields Blvd in Moore is a liar . I called him three time
once (right before we headed up there) about the 98 & 96 dodge 1500 ram 4 by
4's and then i drove over an hour with my father who is disabled on oxygen to
buy one of the trucks. He had cash in hand and a trade in S ten pick up that is
in good driving condition which is what we drove to get there. And the Mike Amos
had listed them on buzzzmotors.com and craigslist for 2,995 & !1995 which
when i ask if was the down payment he said no it was the price altogether. then
when we get there he says well i add new parts so they are higher now. and one
of the trucks listed as a 4 by 4 was not a 4 by 4 he had took out the drive
shaft out so it was not a 4 by 4. then to add two the problem he offered him
200$ for the sten. that would bring at lest 1500 sold on craigslist for a quick
by. And when we spoke two someone who knew him they said he rigs them up and
sells them cheep and don't stand behind the warranty's he offers

This guy Mike Amos is a total d-bag. My son bought a car from there and in less than a week it has broke down. I called him and asked if he could help out with the repairs and he told me no and he doesnt have a mechanic. I totaly understood that, but at least throw some money my way to help with repairs on the cars you sell. This guy rambles on and on and on trying to talk his way out of things. DO NOT EVER BUY A CAR FROM HERE. HE IS A TOTAL CROOK!!!
AND BY THE WAY ONE STAR GIVEN BECAUSE I HAD TO. IF I HAD A CHOICE IT WOULD BE A BIG FAT ZERO

Just a disclaimer: We DID NOT buy a car from this very bad man.
My husband and I were in a situation where we were looking for a cheap, used car to get us from A to B after we had a car accident. Our budget was tight due to the accident so we searched the internet for "deals" in our area. My husband found an ad on AutoTrader.com that showed 3 different vehicles that he was interested in that were in our price range. He then contacted the "owner" to inquire about said vehicles. He was assured that all 3 cars were still on the lot and all were mechanically sound and were running/driving. So we drove about 30 miles or more to get to Buzzz Motors. When we arrived, the lot was so small and packed with cars that we could not find a place to park ours. Upon first inspection, none of the cars appear to have been cleaned or kept up since they have been on the lot. A man came out to help us and we told him that we had seen 3 cars online that we had called about and would like to see. He proceeded to tell us that one of the cars had a blown transmission so we would not be able to drive it. The second car that we were told was on the lot was, in fact, not on the lot and we were told that it was at a "different location" and that the transmission was messed up and would only run in 4th gear. The third car in question was parked in the very back of the lot. He said that it was in great running condition and then proceeded to pop the hood and tell us that you have to twist some wires together in the drivers side of the car to keep the fuel pump on before starting the engine. He then hooked it up to a battery charger because it also had to be jump-started. He said that you have to dismantle the fuel intake filter and spray starter fluid in it and then start the car. After he did all of that, he said that to drive the car, you have to regularly connect and disconnect the wires to the fuel pump depending on the cars idle while you are driving down the road. He suggested that we buy a switch so that we don't have to twist the wires while we are driving. Needless to say, we told him that this is not what we were told on the phone and had just wasted a few hours going over how to dismantle a car to get it to start. The guy then went inside and got the owner to come out and talk to us. The owner proceeded to mock and make fun of my husband by telling him that he obviously didn't know how to use a switch. He then asked everyone in his office, staff and customers alike, how much it would cost us to buy a switch. He was clearly challenging my husbands intelligence. My husband said that he did not appreciate that the owner was disrespecting him. He then told the owner that the cars that we had just seen (and hadn't seen in the case of the one that we were told was somewhere else) did not meet what we were told earlier that morning on the phone before we made the trip down to Moore. The owner then got more aggravated and told my husband that he had indeed shown him perfectly running cars like he had promised. He proceeded to say that the car with the blown transmission was a perfectly running car and that all it needed was a new transmission. The owner said that the car that was not on the lot runs and drives perfectly as well but that you wouldn't be able to change from 4th gear at any time. He then said that the car that we had to disassemble runs great and that we could just get a switch. He had a very condescending tone and implied that we were idiots. He then told my husband that he would sell us his sons car because the engine was blown and then we really wouldn't have a running/driving car.
I absolutely WOULD NOT buy a car from this man. I wouldn't trust anything that comes off of his lot. I know that a lot of parents look for cheap "first cars" for their teenagers but please, if you're reading these reviews, consider what everyone is saying. This man is a liar and a crook.

I would not recommend this place to my worst enemy

went to the dealership ...
Buzzz Motors
in Moore, Oklahoma

when I spoke to them on the phone
I was informed the car was in running condition
nothing wrong mechanically
with only an inner door panel off

I wasted all day yesterday waiting for them to get a " locksmith " because they " lost the key "

this morning my niece drove me up there

I got there and looked at the car
dirt inside the gas tank opening
interior of the car looked like crap
bout an inch of dust / dirt on the dashboard

I walked into the office and asked about the car
I was then informed it does not start
it needs at least 2 sensors ...
and has no spark

needless to say I looked at the man and said ...
" this is not what you told me over the phone "
he said I just found out this morning from one of the mechanics that there are these " small " issues
that once you fix the car can be driven off the lot

I politely informed him if he had been honest with me
I would not have wasted my time
he tried to say " well what do you expect "
I told him rather curtly as he walked away
" if you tell someone over the phone the car runs and can be driven of the lot, you had better be telling the truth "

he walked away laughing as though I was the one with the problem

Last week I was told that the 1997 Red Camaro Convertible i saw on the internet and called about was still available and it was in great working condition and i should come down to take a look, so i did and the vehicle is not even on property, he said it is kept out at his residence for security purposes. I asked if we could go look at it since I've driven from Nw Okc and he says; I cant leave the dealership because he is the only one there. I asked when would be a good time to look at it and he said after i get off tonight at 6pm. I said i would be back at 6pm to meet him to go look at it.As I was getting ready to leave my house and head back to the dealership to meet him, he texts me at 5:05pm and says the starter is bad and he's sending it to the starter repair shop down the street, he said he would let me know when it was finished. 3 days go by and no word, so i decide to call and see whats taking so long, he answers and says the repair shop had to order a part they didn't have to fix the starter, he would let me know when he did. 2 more days go by so i call again to see if it's done, he says i guess they're still waiting on the part, he said if i'm tired of waiting i could go to Auto Zone and buy a new starter and they could put it on in 15 minutes. I said no that wasn't going to happen. I told him i would just wait and we hung up. A few minutes after i hung up with him I called the closest starter shop to the dealership ( DON'S AUTO ELECTRIC ) and asked if they were working on a starter for Buzz motors and the owner said yes, he said he has told them many times that the starter IS NOT repairable ( SO THEY LIED TO ME ) and he asked if they wanted him to order a new one ,but hasn't received an answer the last few times he has called. I called buzz motors back and told the owner what the starter repair shop had told me and all he could say was; Well i have a nice/clean 2001 White Pontiac Firebird ready to go.

WEDNESDAY NIGHT: I asked if it was on property and he said yes ( Keep in mind this Firebird has been on the internet over 30 days) He knew i was coming to look at the vehicle. So yesterday my father in law and a friend of my father (who is the Manager of the city of Norman mechanics dept) went to Buzz Motors to look at the vehicle that the owner said he still had just the night before (Again it's been online for over a month) and again he knew i was coming down to look at the vehicle yesterday, but when we were on our way my dads friend had made it there before my father in law and I , he said that the dealer told him it had already sold just a few hours before we had arrived, but he has a green Firebird just like it and just as clean. ( in other words " BAIT " LIE " SCAM").. Guess what ??? The car doesn't even start so he had to put it on a battery charger. My father in law went in took talk to him asking for a bill of sale on the white Firebird we had originally come down to see. My father in law walked out of the office ( trashed out trailer ) and the owner got very angry and followed, he walked up to my father in law and started screaming in his face so loudly that people from the other dealerships in the area could hear. Customers who heard got back in their vehicles and left his property. I told the owner we would not be buying from him because he is a liar, rude, unprofessional, disrespectful and a crooked scammer. We started to walk towards our vehicle to get in to leave, but he followed continuing to scream/curse and grabbed the door to my car keeping my father in law from shutting the door, so i walk over and ask him not to touch my vehicle or myself, he came closer. I asked him one last time to back off and not to touch me or my vehicle again or the police would be called. We left property as he continued to scream and curse at us.

WHEN PEOPLE WRITE THESE REVIEWS YOU NEED TO LISTEN !!!!!
STAY AWAY FROM THIS DEALER, HE IS CROOKED AND A SCAMMER !!
IF YOU BUY FROM HIM, YOU WILL PAY FOR IT OVER AND OVER !!!

Horrible Owner!!!

I wish I could give a 0. The owner called me a bi-ch and told me to go back to Oregon!!! He apparently didn't want to sell to me because he thought I knew what I was doing. He showed me the car, didn't ask if I wanted to test drive, but he did ask if I needed to go home and ask my husband for approval to buy it??? Rudest person I have met here. He gives Oklahomans a bad name!!!

Rudest people I've ever dealt with

I called twice trying to find out about a car that was listed online. Both times the person who answered was absolutely awful to talk to. I was ready to walk in with cash to purchase the vehicle, but after being treated like dirt I took my business elsewhere. I wouldn't give my time and money to these people if I were you.

These people are morons. I don...

These people are morons. I don't know how they stay in business. They are absolutely clueless about vehicles. They are a very trashy group of people as well. The "younger" workers all look like they had a case of the crank face. I wouldn't buy a vehicle from this place if they were the last dealership on the face of the planet. All of the cars they sell are pieces of crap anyway. You will have better luck finding a vehicle on craigslist. The only reason I gave them a star is because I had to to post this review.
