Big Daddy's Tattoo & Body Piercing

I chose to get my tattoo here based on reviews I had read online. I was a walk in and the artist that was helping me was Big Daddy Moe. He pretty much judged me based on what I was wearing (pink shirt) and said I looked like a "nice girl" and tried to talk me out of getting a tattoo. I informed him that I have another tattoo and I have given thought to this tattoo for the last year. I should have just walked away then and gone somewhere else... This was the first sign/red flag and I ignored it. I did not know I needed to dress in grunge to be taken seriously.



Anyways, he did the tattoo for me but once it was finished and I had gone home I could tell there was spots that he missed..... I could see skin through the ink & coloring outside of the border. Once the tattoo healed I could see the border very clearly in spots and see that the letters were not filled in that great. The entire tattoo looks like it was done by someone with a shaky inexperienced hand. Nothing I could do at this point except let it heal. I knew I needed to wait for the tattoo to heal before I went and got a a touch up so I waited 30 days to contact him for an appointment. I wanted to be fair to him and give him the opportunity to touch up his own work, despite it being shaky, and he said he would get back to me with a time I could come in once he looked at his schedule. After I didn't hear anything for a few days I called the shop directly (I spoke to him) and scheduled a time to come in. I arrived to my appointment 20 minutes early and he said he was just finishing up another tattoo and it would only be a few minutes later. 1 hour after the appointment time he was still tattooing. In fact, at this time he and the client took a 15 minute smoke break and then went back to finishing the tattoo! I don't know if Moe was smoking or not but he was out back and the client was out front smoking. I could not even believe it!! During their break he did come out to look at my tattoo and I showed him the BLOB of ink on the cross and he told me that was a "flare" to give it personality. Okay.... No. It is a shaky hand BLOB on a basic 2 line, stick cross. The cross looks like a plus sign but with a blob at the bottom. If it was a so called "flare" for personality then how come he didn't mention that at the time? It's a BLOB of ink.



He "talks the talk" about customer service... He acts like they take it very serious but I can assure you I wasn't given quality work or any real customer service. Now, I have to go pay someone else to FIX his work which I will gladly do because I am not wasting my time or future money (more tattoos) on someone with a shaky hand who doesn't want to fix their own work! I'm am just taking this as a giant red flag and walking away. I will let someone else show me their talents instead.



I hate to write this review this way but I wish I had read some reviews with the truth about which artist to avoid before I chose to come here. Now I show off sloppy work! .... Great.

By the way, Big Daddy Moe doesn't even own Big Daddy's Tattoo shop.... It's the son who owns it. (Moe told me this while I was getting my tattoo done.) I would have liked to of known that beforehand; I thought he was just that good (& cool) that he had his own shop and called it that. I thought I was getting a tattoo by the best. By going to a shop that's named after someone, that's what you would think....

I got my very first tattoo done today by OB he was extremely professional washing his hands thoroughly and constantly changing his gloves. The ambiance was so welcoming I enjoyed the music and he was so comedic I forgot there was a needle gliding through my body. Oh and what a greater singer OB is :) this place is amazing my permanent tattoo parlor.

My wife and myself went in to the the shop for a tattoo and the artist ob was very friendly and helpful and listen to what we wanted and offered advice and was very good at the art and skills of a tattooist definitely will be back to get awesome art from him again.also my daughter and wife went in to get body piercings from Clayton and he is amazing very helpful friendly and courteous answered every question honestly and made sure everything was perfect.a wonderful and clean shop. Recommending it to all my family and friends. Can't wait to go back again.

I went in for a piercing Bobbie did a great job. It was very little pain and she explained everything to me. I will definitely go back.

Myself and a friend are travelling route66 from England and found Big Daddy's as recommended by a friend in Oklahoma.

The service here was second to NONE and we were made to feel VERY welcomed, like one of the family if you will.

Obi was my artist, he took FANTASTIC pride in his work, shared some great stories and really made us feel welcome. If there is one thing I'm sure of after a 2 week stay in the US. When I return there is only one place I would go to add to my art.

Big Daddys was recommended to us from a close friend whose tattoo was incredible from OB. The detail and color was amazing!! We did some research and found Big Daddys was very reasonable in price and also receptive to our ideas and suggested some of his. He suggested to wait a day for my daughters so he could create a custom piece. My daughter was slightly nervous but he did an amazing job with explaining what he was doing as he went. He took his time with the tattoo, and the end result turned out incredible! It honestly turned out so much better then we thought it would. I would highly recommend OB. My daughter is going back to get her first one fixed and I am going in two weeks for mine. We have finally found our professional tattoo artist for all our needs!

Big Daddy's is awesome! I will always come here for any work that I need done. They were clean, polite, and attentive. Thank you!!!

I went there, set appointment. I came back at the time they said, waited 20 minute or more because the front desk didn't want to interupt (OK), but then when he did ask, he told the front desk to tell me he can't get you in. But I have an appointment. They took some hot chick in 30 minutes earlier. The owner came out and ask whats up. He said first come first service after many excuses. I said but I was here not over 3 hours ago and he told me to come back for my tat... bottom line they're full of crap and didn't stand by what they said. They wanted to sen another appointment. I said NO WAY!!!

Called and theysaid they're open til nine.. Show up at 8 an door is locked and now the person answering says you have the wrong number! Nice business skills!
