This place is a joke!

They have horrible customer service and are WAY overpriced. The employees are not only lazy but they are rude. And if they do manage to sucker you into a membership it shows up on your credit as a loan...a loan for tanning, that is just crazy to me! If you do end up having any type of billing issue they make you call corporate. Its an answering service that NEVER calls you back. I would rather rub baby oil on myself and sit in the hot summer sun while my skin burns than tan here again.

Worst tanning salon

This is the worst business I have ever dealt with. They make you sign a contract where they directly take the money from your account. If you want to cancel...too bad, you are locked in no matter what. I got pregnant and they wouldn't let me out of the contract. DO NOT GO TO AT THE BEACH!!!

I wouldn't recommend At The Beach to my worst enemy.

At The Beach "Tanning Super Stores" is a scam. I recently moved to the OKC area and needed a place to tan. There was an At the Beach just down the road, so I went in to find info and was basically lied to by the ATB employee. I was told that although I had to sign a contract, I could put my account on hold at anytime. All I had to do was pay $15. If I moved, no problem, the contract could easily be voided. Unfortunately, this is a bunch of lies they tell every new customer to get them to sign a lengthy and expensive contract. You can put your account "on hold" by paying $15 dollars but they still keep withdrawing from your account every month! It makes no sense. Not to mention getting out of a contract early is nearly impossible. I am moving 75 miles away and was just told that not only do I have to send a copy of my new driver's license, but I have to provide 3 bills with my new address AND send them a $75 check. ATB has poor ethics and I wouldn't recommend it to my worst enemy.

Wow, its just like signing up for a major fitness contract. Lots of sales smoke and mirrors!

Nice tanning equipment, but you will be asked to provide your direct access to your checking account for up to 2 years to get the advertised tanning prices. Then to cancel you must fill out a form, get it to "corporate", wait another month for stop payment. Don't ask for the cancelation form when you sign up. They have been told to say it is a proprietary form that is a trade secret and they can't give it out. Anything longer than a one time, very high priced, tanning session requires you give them access to your checking account. No contract doesn't mean pay as you go, you still have to provide your checking account. Month to month is acutally 60 days minimum (30 days + 30 days to cancel). And of course if you sign up today you will just make the special deal! By the way you can cancel at any time their best priced deal which requires the two year tanning obligation, but guess what, you have to find another person to sell it to. That's right, I'm not kidding!
