I met Doctor Karim El-Sherief as a result of my having a major heart attack. I was in severe distress when transported to Tri-City Medical Center in Vista, CA where Doctor El-Sherief happened to be the cardiologist on call. He performed emergency surgery to clear a completely blocked left anterior descending artery blood supply to the front of my heart. Doctor El-Sherief successfully cleared the blockage and inserted a stent, all within fifteen minutes from the time I reached surgery. Doctor El-Sherief saved my life, for which I cannot adequately express my thanks. Doctor El-Sherief continued his support during and after post-operation recovery, including monitoring my progress through the Tri-Center Medical Center Cardiac Rehabilitation program. In the course of follow-up office visits I have been impressed by Doctor El-Sherief’s high level of professional knowledge, personal warmth, and his willingness to listen and discuss approaches to maintaining cardiac health with the view to continued excellent quality of life. I strongly recommend Doctor Karim El-Sherief to anyone in need of cardiac care.
