He has been a member of Associated Neurology Medical Group since 1984. He is a past Chief of Neurology at Summit Medical Center, Oakland, CA and Alta Bates Medical Center, Berkeley, CA. He has also been the medical director for the electroencephalography laboratories at these facilities for many years. Dr. Starkey has special interests in headache, seizure disorders, dementia, and Parkinson's disease. He is Board Certified in Neurology and Clinical Neurophysiology, and hs been voted one of America's Top Doctors multiple years running by his colleagues. In his spare time, Dr. Starkey is an avid downhill and cross country skier as well as a back country hiker.

Multiple Sclerosis
The only California native in the group, Dr. Eric Collins was born and raised in the Los Angeles area. After graduating from University of California, Santa Cruz, he completed medical school at University of Kansas, and then returned for Neurology residency and fellowship in Neuromuscular Disease at the University of Southern California Medical Center, joining Associated Neurology in 1993. He is a past clinical instructor for UC Berkeley-UCSF Joint Medical program and Assistant Professor at Touro University. He is a past Chief of Neurology at Summit Medical Center, and is past President of the San Francisco Neurological Society. As well as being Board Certified in Neurology and having special training in neuromuscular disease and muscle pathology, Dr. Collins has particular interest in dementia, Parkinson's disease (including deep brain stimulation), disorders of gait and balance, and multiple sclerosis. He as been voted one of America's Top Doctors multiple years running by his colleagues. Dr. Collins enjoys playing the flute badly and cooking well.

I will now be seeing patients in Alameda and San Ramon. The Alameda address will be 985 Atlantic Ave #300, Alameda, CA 94501. In San Ramon, the old office at 5401 Norris Canyon Road, Suite 306 is closing effective January 31, 2018. My new office will be located across the parking lot at 5601 Norris Canyon Road, Suite 240, San Ramon, CA 94583. I will continue to administer Botox at both practice locations.
