Overall

Absolutely the worst location for a bakery of this quality. Although they specialize in middle eastern pastry and by the way they are Christian Chaldean, they also offer croissants, including a feta cheese croissant which is out of this world. Their chocolate eclairs are filled with real custard not just white cream. They are smaller than the New York eclairs I am used to. As far as their baklava theirs are large flaky and not soaked in sugar syrup like other ME bakeries. Their chocolate drenched little cookies look and taste like they were baked in Paris. Prices more than reasonable. Their only problem is parking as it is located in a narrow strip mall like so many other small businesses in Oak Park. The bakery is located on the west side of Coolidge just past nine mile going south. Enter the strip mall at the first entrance or you will have to go around the back. As I said the parking is horrible. In any other location they would do well with a sit down cafe. Cakes are also amazing.

Overall

horrible location in a strip all whose entrance is easy to miss just south of nine mile on Coolidge. Clean, courteous and filled with delightful middle eastern pastries as well as French eclairs, buttery croissants including a feta cheese croissant that is out of this world, little chocolate drenched cookies that look like they are from Paris, The bakery is Christian Chaldean owned and they go out of their way to answer your questions. I rate their larger and more flaky baklava better than Shatila, and Jasmine in Dearborn. I ordered a dozen feta stuffed buttery croissants and I am going back.
