Overall
I have been going to this offi...

I have been going to this office for about a year and a half. This time I went in everything is so disorganized. Recepionist nicole very polite but you can tell she was going through alot and looked upset; my mood just changed after that. I was so upset because it took us about 2 hr to be seen then another 2 in the seat. Meanwhile all you see are the dental assisants running back and forth one yelling at the other. Once they got their cleaning I felt like it was the worst day anyone could have at the dentist. I was getting check out by the new manager conny she didn't know anything she was saying, could barley understand her. I mention the long wait and how th dental assisant were very loud and she said " There was a mix up with my kids files and doctor was in the middle of doing something on another person. the assiants can not just take him out of the room you like everyone else have to wait your turn." so unprofessional. The phone would ring and she picked up the phone in the middle of my sentences. Asked to go sit down in the lobby while she got both of my kids files, and forgot about me was in the lobby for like 20 more mins and ask the receptionst if the manager was ready for me. embarrased the receptionist made me my kids their next 6 months cleaning.

I really want someone higher then them to go in and fix these little problems before they get bigger because I SERIOUSLY HOPE I DO NOT GO THROUGH THIS AGAIN IN JULY!

Overall
My dental experience today

The worst experience I ever had!!! It was unclean. It was chaotic. I waited 2 hours to get my teeth cleaned, and finally fled, yes, FLED the office.

After being eyed up and down by some filthy (and not just from working - not bathing) construction worker who wouldn't get off the front desk, I had to fill out about 10 pages of paperwork/billing/insurance. More than anything else, I left with the impression that these people wanted to get their money first and foremost.

I did not leave, however, without having received the worst treatment I've ever experienced in a medical or dental office. I was sat down in a cubicle after waiting fifty minutes beyond my appointment time, where I was told to sit down and then was left alone in the barely furnished room. There was a dental chair, and some swabs. That was it. Someone would come in - say a word or two, then leave again. I waited at least 15 minutes in the room with nobody checking in on me.

Then came the xray experience. They took 13 xrays before they got that part right. They scratched and scraped up the inside of my mouth while the 'assistant' failed to properly do her job and had to get help. Additionally, the 'assistant' used her glove to position the xray machine, that was covered with my saliva - and I'm certain that the machine isn't washed between patients. I had the impression that the 'assistant' wasn't a trained certified dental assistant, but someone off the street (literally) who had received minimal training, and was now pumping my head full or radiation.

The dentist, who never removed her mask (who knows how many patients spit and tooth particles are on her mask as she goes from patient to patient), told me I had 'five tiny cavities'. She neglected to say where they were. She was not personable *at all*. I had her look at one of my teeth where I slid the gum up flossing (I take very good care of my teeth) and she actually TOLD me not to smile big enough that anyone could see it. Well, that's *clearly* the proper solution to my problem. I should have looked closer at her diploma on the wall to see if it said "Sally Struthers institute of dentistry" or "Cracker Jacks". They were hung in $5 frames though.

Then they sent in the billing folks. Once again, I cannot stress enough that these people wanted money first. That's what mattered, and was the only thing that mattered. I had to ask the billing clerk which teeth, exactly, had cavities? she called in a lady that worked there, who did not introduce herself as any sort of professional, who then proceeded to *read my xray*, without even a light! She didn't speak English as her primary language, yet I'm supposed to take her word on where my 'tiny cavities' (per the dentist) were? She could have been the janitor, for all I knew!

After more money-related paperwork was completed, they left me again, sitting in my chair. I'd been there over two hours at this point. I took off the napkin they had around my neck, folded it neatly in the chair, and walked out. I told the receptionist that I'd have to reschedule... With another dentist. What a nightmare.

I'm only afraid that my insurance will want me to go back there to get what are, I'm sure, substandard xrays (the equipment was SO old!) to take to a new dentist for my checkup. I never want to step foot in that building again! The floor was dirty concrete!

I only write this in the hopes that the franchise ownership, or someone high up in the organization can put some pressure on this location to become more hygenic, have better trained personnel and treat their patients better. At the very least, hopefully people will read this before going and save themselves some time, discomfort and money.

I will never recommend them to anyone I know, and in fact will warn everyone I know away from this particular business.
