        North charleston toys r us never explain their lay away policies. The sales associates are very rude and does not know how to do their job. I was on hold for 45 mins, the line was picked up twice then put back on hold. I finally called back and asked to speak to a manger to get answers. This is pretty sad. they need to hire competent staff. I will never suggest anybody to go to this store!!!

        PLEASE DON"T WASTE YOUR TIME

        Well well well toysrus I really don't know how you are still in business. I have been to the store (8755) and was ignored when trying to ask a question then I called and was on hold for 15 minutes someone picked up and put me on hold again. I stayed on for another 30 minutes and hung up so then I sent an e-mail and was told that I would hear something back in 3-5 days from the store still haven't heard anything so I e-mailed again and haven't heard anything back from that one either. That's alright though they can go screw themselves and I'll take my business somewhere else from now on.

        hit or miss customer service. was shopping for a playhouse, saw one advertised in the flyer xx% off. called to ask about it.. if it was in stock and how much? employee put me on hold for NO LONGER than 5 seconds, after asking me to describe it, but not asking the SKU number or anything else(I even offered it as I had it from their website). came back on and said we have one and it is 199.99. the listed retail price online was much lower. so I knew she did NOT check. a few days later called back, got another person. this person actually checked... they had 3 in stock and the sale price was 119 regular price 159..... hmmmto their credit they did hold the item for pickup after it was purchased, for a week, until I could get a truck to bring it home in..... except for the fact that, I did NOT need a truck. when asked to see the box after purchasing the item(boxes were in stockroom) the emplyee simply said "oh, no, it's BIG you need a truck. it would've fit in my car. :(
