Provided by SuperpagesWhen we purchased our home there was a singicant mouse problem. Our realtor recommended Richard. He was extremely through and sealed up ever possible entry point that a mouse could get into the house. That was 7 years ago and we have never had a mouse since.

Provided by SuperpagesMy parents used Ricks Father for years, then Rick and now me and my siblings use them. Rick knows his business and goes above and beyond to ensure the issue is resolved. Since Standish Pest Control has been helpful so many times in the last 30 years it is impossible to pick one to rave about - so I will just rave about Rick!

Provided by SuperpagesRick got rid of our carpenter ant problem that 4 years of treatment by one of the big pest control companies didn't fix. He was up in the attic, down in the basement, outside, inside to locate and treat the nest, which was in a 2nd story wall. He is very dedicated and we had no ants that whole next year. He is a real expert and I highly recommend him!
Rick has come to out house for two years to rid us of moths. This third year I will contact someone else. Last year he explained that since he had treated the house the year before, I must be bringing dead animal carcasses into the house and these were the source of the wool munchers.
I was surprised to read the previous reviews because I have had nothing but stellar customer service from Rick. I am TERRIFIED of bees and he came out 4 summers in a row to rid my yard of them. Once he even came during a Vikings game within an hour of my call. I would gladly pay double what he charges because when he leaves, the bees are DEAD and no more for the rest of the summer. I had 2 kinds of bees very accustomed to my yard... they tried to come back every other year (alternating) and now they don't come back at all. I also appreciate that he is very knowledgable about the pests and is willing to share info with me on how to prevent them from coming back. He is serious and task-oriented, but not rude. I tell all of my friends about the 'bee guy' and HIGHLY recommend him often.

Provided by SuperpagesRick Standish solved a mouse infestation I have battled for years He cemented foundation openings and fastened lathe type screen at the eaves and dormers. Service was preformed in Sept 08, I waited to respond to assure complete success. No mice since! He was very knowledgable, polite and on time! Cost was higher than the others I have tried, but the problem seems solved!

Provided by SuperpagesGot rid of the pests but did not provide good customer service. I felt uneasy since I was told conflicting information about the pests and the treatments throughout the process, but luckily they are gone.
