Ants cause various types of damage, depending upon the variety. Carpenter ants tunnel through wood, destroying structures. Pharaoh ants may transmit serious diseases. A fire ant’s sting is potentially deadly to susceptible individuals, and all ants contaminate the food they infest.
Spiders
Except for poisonous spiders, such as the black widow and the brown recluse, spiders are not harmful to humans. When it’s important to eliminate spiders, chemical control is used, along with destruction of webs and eggs. Since they feed on insects, measures that eliminate unwanted insects will also reduce spider populations.
Termites
Termites eat wood and can consequently cause great structural damage to your home if left unchecked. A typical homeowner's insurance policy does not cover destruction caused by termites, even though they cause over 1 billion dollars in damage to homes throughout the United States each year. Our inspection and treatment program can help you understand the threat of termites, and take the necessary steps to protect your home.
Bed Bugs
Bees, wasps, and scorpions are dangerous because of their painful and potentially harmful stings. Fleas and ticks can carry potential disease and bloodthirsty bedbugs leave an irritating bite.
Fleas
It is not unusual to find ticks and fleas after treatment. The treatment should start to control them along with the animal treatment in a few short days provided preparation instructions were followed. Vacuum, Vacuum, Vacuum will greatly speed up the process as in the case of fleas. The pupae stage will emerge thus coming in contact with the treatment on the dog or floor covering. Your Corpest representative will gladly discuss your treatment.
Cockroaches
Cockroaches spread human disease by depositing disease organisms on food and utensils. The American cockroach, which comes into contact with human excrement in sewers or with pet droppings, may transmit bacteria that cause Salmonella and Shigella. German cockroaches are believed to be capable of transmitting disease-causing organisms such as Staphylococcus, hepatitis, and coliform bacteria. They also have been implicated in the spread of typhoid and dysentery.

We all love birds whether flying in the air or singing in the trees but when they roost or build nests on our homes most people draw the line. Pest birds and their droppings can spread 60+ transmittable diseases including: West Nile Virus, Avian Flu, Bird Flu & St. Louis Encephalitis! A properly installed bird management program will reduce the presence of roosting birds while causing no harm to our feathered friends.
With people's busy schedules and their desire to limit the insecticides within their home, Corpest has a program just right for you. Our Exterior Only program focuses on the entry points around your home and establishing a perimeter defense against most crawling insects and rodents. Our treatment consists of baiting applications to your immediate yard adjacent to the home. Depending on the time of the year a granular and/or liquid application will be placed to the exterior of your home along with sealing up any entry points observed. Should exclusion points require larger than normal sealing your technician will point these areas out to you, so you can secure a qualified contractor to correct these areas. Should treatment to the interior be needed, Corpest will treat those spot areas at no additional cost to you.
Mice
The presence of mice and rats is usually detected by the damage they cause to food and structures, by their droppings, and by their nests. Treatment involves eliminating all entry points and population reduction by the application of rodenticides and traps.
