Cane River Bar and Grill

I went I'n with several friends to have some BBQ and a few beers so we settled I'n to an outside table. Shortly thereafter we had a server who would rather text on her phone then take our order! We laughed it off ordered a round only to find flat beer. It was replaced and then we ordered tea with our meals that was almond flavored without being asked.. When we finally got our food it was dry and had to be drenched I'n sauce just to eat. Lastly we were charged gratuity after the many mishaps. I know with a large party that is common but not at a slop joint! We are from Lafayette and know what good food is and will not be back !

Very slow service not to mention attitude before order was even placed. When my wife and kids sat down there was gravy all over the seats staining my wife's new dress .. We overlooked all that only to find food that was large I'n portion but seasoned poorly and burned.. We tried be diplomatic and found management to be unresponsive as a sporting event was their main focus .. I would rather eat at taco bell then return there.

Fantastic laid back atmosphere, great food, great fun. Dinner's range in price from $5 for a burger or chopped beef sandwich and fries, to $25 for a huge ribeye, salad and potato. Nice spacious deck on the river for dining or just relaxing with an ice cold beer. Family-owned, very friendly! Food prepared with lots of TLC!
