We had no wait before we were seated and enjoyed a delicious Sunday Brunch. We brought some out of town guests and we each ordered different choices from the menu. Excellent service, great place, clean and efficient! Reviewed it here: http://stylingwithcjdsign.blogspot.com/2016/09/camp-robber-in-montrose-co.html

Went for Sunday Brunch (9:00-2:00). At 12 noon they were out of the Quiche Lorraine listed as a special. Another special was blueberry crepes. A couple of people ordered these and received crepes with no filling whatsoever, covered with whipped cream, banana slices, and chocolate sauce. Not a blueberry or blueberry jelly/jam in sight. We had eaten here before and had been very pleased. Very disappointing today.
Service was excellent as expected but, because we were with a group and a guest minister, we chose not to make a fuss.

- Owners Bill and Kim Volk opened the Camp Robber in 1994 in downtown Montrose, Colorado. The concept for this unique restaurant began many years earlier when the owner's love of the mountains moved them from Albuquerque, New Mexico to Colorado. While on many outings in the beautiful Colorado Mountains, they were visited by the Canadian Grey Jay, nicknamed the Camp Robber by miners. They are known for swooping down on campers and stealing food from picnic tables, or eating right out of your hands. The Camp Robber Restaurant and Robbers Roost Bar only robs you of your appetite and thirst. By 2006, the restaurant had become so popular that a larger facility was necessary. Our current building was constructed to accommodate a private party room, known as the Aspen Room, a large outdoor patio (enclosed by a uniquely designed fence), a beautiful bar known as the Robbers Roost, and a much larger dining room for our guests.Owners Bill and Kim Volk opened the Camp Robber in 1994 in downtown Montrose, Colorado.
