Absolute worst experience and outcome.



I had never come there before and only stopped by because I needed a simple quick trim-- how could that go wrong? I asked for a specific person someone had told me did a fair job, and although the person was there, *she said no. I said I’d wait a few minutes for her to finish up and was told me.... "No" and some other incomprehensible phrasing-- she obviously took advantage of pretending not to communicate competently in English. (A common tactic at hole-in-the-wall these places like this-- to dupe, persuade, and exploit polite customers)



The woman disregarded the simplest of instructions, and randomly picked away at my hair with her scissors-- do exactly opposite of what I instructed in areas.



When I would politely correct her when I noticed what she was doing-- she would stop, argue with me, then proceed to do exactly what I didn't want done to my hair. She had the audacity to repeat this several times more.



By the end of this... horrific experience, she asked me if I wanted a blow dry, I said "No" and she had the audacity to blow dry my hair anyway. I said again "Please, I said I didn't want blow dry”, she used the hair dryer again. It was literally as though she was taunting me. Besides that fact that it is utterly baffling that she asked me if I wanted a blow dry when she disregarded what I said in spite of me—it also makes no sense considering that there was nothing to dry as my hair was not washed before she employed her schizophrenic scissors on it.



It only gets better from here. I asked “how much”, and requested to see the manager. She claimed that she was the manager. I told her, “You did not do what I asked”, and her repeated response was to show me the back of my head with a mirror, and also argue that she did what I asked—when she clearly did not.



Even after them most odd and unpleasant end results of hair cuts—I had never been so angered as to want to speak to the manager. It was not so much her lack of skill and following basic instructions but her discernibly wretched and spiteful spirit. As though—“What are you going to do about it?”



Please, in the instance that you would not like your hair to look like a child’s raggedy Barbie doll after it has gone through mutilation. I would highly recommend you try your chances on another place. Really, someone should report her to either the BBB, or Immigration.
